*..::Training::..*
reported to school at 8.15am on Thursday, before proceeding to take a taxi with Charmaine, Cheryl & Danelle to the training centre [mr low drove qiu yi, clarissa & jean there]. had our training for these 2 days, each lasting for 6 hours [with an additional hr in between for lunch]. so the whole training session lasted for 12 whole hours...

Thursday 14/11
{food} charmaine, cheryl & i decided to try mixed rice at the nearby food canteen in the building, while the rest went to have wanton mee. by the way, the stall practised the self-service policy, & we took our own amounts of rice & dishes. all 3 of us couldn't believe it when we paid only $2.50 when cheryl & i each took "quite enough" food for us, while charmaine paid the same price when she took much less!! wah...the food was very reasonable [well, considering the amt of food we took]! =)

Friday 15/11
{food} now qiu yi & i decided to have some hor fun at one particular stall. then this helper told us to wait at our table while he would bring us our food...but after much waiting, we found tat all the customers [including those who went AFTER us] had been given their food! so we decided to go back to the stall & sort of "remind" this man.

the meal was $2.50, so we both took out our money before going to the stall. then something happened which really infuriated me!! =/
before tat [at the table] i thought i saw qiu yi prepare exactly $2.50 on her hand. when we gave the man the money, he told us to take my 50 cents for her. and i sort of huh??! then here came the remark...he asked me in Mandarin [and i felt it was quite sarcastic] :"Do u know Chinese??" this really pissed me off!! i know, i kind of acted a bit "blur" just now but really, it was because i didn't know what he was talking about, and i thought that qiu yi had given him the exact amt when she actually gave him 3 bucks!

woa...but i didn't say anything to him & just went off after taking my food...well..i won't let this incident affect me too much! =)

*..::CCA briefing::..*
went to school at 8.30am for a short club meeting & get the consent form. really short..the briefing [for the next 2 days' training] only lasted for about 15 minutes!

Monday 11/11
went to Popular yesterday at ard 5pm to buy books. well..only managed to buy 8 bks! will try again, also at other bookstores. =D

Tuesday 12/11
sorted out the books in the cupboard today. took up some part of the morning. ah..the place looks neater now!!
went with my dad to fetch my sis from her rehearsal for Talent Night in school at about 9pm later in the day. =)
