Friday 25/4:

i'm sooo happy! ms gan was meant to give us back our e.maths test papers but she didn't have time to do so in the end. she asked the class if she had told about the person with full marks...and at that time i was standing around the middle of the classroom with some peeps checking the graph. i thought that she would announce it to the whole class, so i mumbled a "no" to myself. 
then suddenly she just came to us and asked where i was, and told me this, "Do you know that you had scored 100 for the maths test?"
hehx..so i just said, "Er..okay.."
"Hey you girls arh...don't know how to react one...must say thank you wad!"
"Okie...thx..." - beams -
told hui wen about this and she actually broadcasted it to the whole class...TWICE!!
anyways, i'm just so glad about it. this means that for Term 2 CA my maths results would be 100! - yippiez! - J

also, i'm also happy for my eng compre. i think this is the first time i had gotten such a mark that the tch would put a "Good!" remark next to it! however, this mark wouldn't be added to the CA. oh wadeva, i can't do anything 'bout it. just hope that i would continue working hard & striving to maintain my standard or go higher...=)

had geog test on map-reading today. many pple said that it was tough. well i found it quite okay. just hope that my marks would also be at least okay! slept at 12am the night before just to study for this test. no matter how tired and sleepy i was, i still forced to keep my eyes open. wellz...i've been doing this for so many times already! and i guess i've been sleeping at 12am for many days this week!

conducted 2 experiments today -- physics and bio. both were quite fun..
for physics, we had to find the centre of gravity for the mass of the lamina [i cut out a flower-shaped object]. in the end the lamina actually balanced steadily on my finger! =D
for bio, we carried out experiments to test for starch, proteins and fats. as for the glucose experiment, the benedict's solution mixed with glucose in a test-tube in the water bath was supposed to turn into an orange-red ppt, but after some time everyone's solution was still green from blue. so there must be sumthing wrong with it and we did the whole experiment again. this time, it managed to turn orange-red.

had hcl in the afternoon. wrote zuo wen to describe a place which will make you forget all your troubles and worries away. so i talked about the singapore river. as usual, finished it by about 4.30pm.



Thursday 24/4:
*..::Rush Hours::..*
woa~.. today's really a rushing day. again, rushed for lunch for maths olympiad at 2pm and did not stay on in class for the extra physics lesson. ended at 3.40pm and i had to be at my piano tch's place by 3.45pm!
by the time i walked over from sch and arrived at my tch's parents' house, it was exactly 3.45pm, but her father told me that the lesson was meant to be held at her actual house! talked to her on the phone and she said that she messaged me on my hp, and when i told her that i didn't bring my hp to sch, she said, "Oh, so u didn't bring your hp today?"
"No! i can never bring my hp to sch!"
so she didn't know till now that we weren't supposed to bring our hps to sch all along...omg~
got her home address and walked down and passed some blocks to her house. after i got out of the lift, i turned the wrong way and starting going down the stairs on the left side when it should be on the right! then after turning right to the lift, i turned right again when it should be on the left! so i walked all the way to the right to find that it should be on the other end! oh wellz...managed to find the correct venue and the lesson started at 4pm.

dad waited downstairs in the carpark after my lesson, and as i was walking towards his car, i heard one of two pl girls shouting my name.
i turned and saw them.
but from a distance, i couldn't make out who they were. so i turned round and continued walking.
shout again. turned back again. but i continued to walk towards the car.
hahax...dunnoe who those peeps were...nvm...maybe some day they'd come forwards to tell me about it!

by the time dad fetched me home, it was already 5.30pm! i quickly took a bath and rushed down for my class at exactly 6pm, while the choc in my mouth! went into the room and settled down, but the tch wasn't there yet as he was caught in a traffic jam. during the lesson, my friend asked where i put the sticker of evidence that i took my temperature before entering the room. oh no! i didn't even know that i had to take my temp!
- gasps - my friend immediately touched my hand to feel my temp. "Luckily you're cold!"
bleahz...i was feeling fine and slightly cold because of the air-con.
wellz...it must be that i missed the station right after i climbed the stairs and did not see any of the workers taking the temp when i arrived!

*..::"War is sometimes justified"??::..*
ran 6 rounds on the 6th [outmost] lane for PE this morning. didn’t expect 6 rounds to make us so exhausted and breathless! especially since I had stitches on the 3rd round on wards! that's what make me have difficulties during the run and make things worse, if not I think it should be fine. dunnoe how to manage next week’s napfa 12 rounds [2.4km] looking at how we all ran! wellx..i hope i'll be able to complete the run & 5 items with at least a silver!

ho ying told me today that her father’s colleague now had Sars! yesterday she told me that this colleague’s 3 children had contracted the disease and she went to work on Monday and was issued the Home Quarantine Order soon after. so she was sort of “quarantined just on time”!
as for the Pasir Panjang case, the family of 8 was actually her father’s colleague’s niece’s family! the whole family was in close contact with one another after their grandmother’s funeral not long ago. wellz…just hope that the situation will get better soon…

had a debate session between 3A1 & 3B1 during EIA in the afternoon today. our class chose brianna, seetal and shu yan to represent our class for this debate thru’ voting. hui wen was the chairperson while celestine was the time-keeper. mr tang & illona tan [vice-headprefect] were the judges.
the motion: This house believes that war is sometimes justified.
our class debate team was the opposition.
in the end, shu yan became the best speaker, and 3A1 won the debate! - yeah! -

Tuesday 22/4:
*..::Sudden Diagram Test ::..*
did not take PE today as my right heel had a small wound which i had no idea how it came about! though it was small, it was rather deep and when i walked that part would sometimes hit my shoe and i could feel a lil’ pain. the class had to jog 4 rounds and practise their shuttle run today. aiya…the session was so light and not so vigorous! but nvm, at least i revised a bit of chem. during PE lesson! ;)

had chem. test today, and it was quite okay…many 3A2 peeps were like trying to borrow a few circle stencils for drawing atomic structures for the test from our class when ms gan saw it and lectured them plus a few of my classmates for not giving the relief teacher present in the class at that time respect.

bio lesson was also fine…and we had to memorise the various parts of the digestive system in 5 mins as ms c.wong told us that she’d test us on that. and 5 mins later we didn’t really expect her to pass down the test worksheets! had to complete it in 2 mins and she even had her timer with her! omg~ wellz…it was rather alritez as i was able to name all the parts…J

stayed back in the afternoon for chi compo writing lesson. it would continue for 7 more lessons every Tuesday. and i knew it – we would have to write an essay by the end of the session [that was what happened in last year’s compo course]!

Monday 21/4:
*..::Surprise 3 Qns::..*
had surprise A Maths quiz of 3 qns which were so difficult! most of the people in my class didn’t finish all of them! and ms wong didn’t even teach on that part! arghh…
and the thing is, she just comes to class…mumbles some things…assign us qns for hwk…and then go thru’ them the next day or sumthin’ – many peeps will not be listening…



Saturday 19/4:
*..::The Durian::..*
yay! the day has finally arrived! had dinner, bathed and went downstairs with my mum to meet jas and her mum at 7pm. reached the Esplanade to watch Oliver! at 7.30pm and walked around. also took a couple of pictures too! and the shops there [except haagen-daaz] sell things so expensively! for example, 6 strawberries dipped with chocolate for five bucks; 100g [meaning less than a dozen] of chocolates [assorted] for $10.30; and 1 pc of wrapped chocolate for $1.50 each! [we bought 9] wahz…and the chocolates are also not that different from those of other shops and taste normal. moreover, the individual chocs are so thin and don’t taste very sweet!

oh yarhz, also met esther wong there. went into the concert hall just about 5 mins before the play. the stage & sound effects plus the setup were fantastic! even the thunders and lightnings seemed so real and near! there were some parts of the play which were rather hilarious and the small little boy and a dog [which i felt was quite alike to the one in the M1 advertisement] were so cute! hahaz…the play was very good...nice...great…yupz…

ate at Local Bites after the play and took some more pics!
by the time we reached home, it was around 12+ am. and after bathing and stuff, it was nearly 1am and i went to bed…zzz
