hahz...watched some cartoons on a vcd at noon,
and borrowed the Pianist vcd to watch in mid-afternoon.
the show was really great!!!
woa...the pianist's playing is sooo fantastic too!
indeed an award-winning show!!

later watched channel u from 7 to 9pm...Reaching Out.
hmm....the show's quite okay so far...plus some really hilarious parts!!

hehz…just finished talking to ho ying on the phone.
didn't expect to talk to her for 45 long minutes!
i had just intended to call her to check if there wasn’t any afternoon lesson, as not many pple came home early today and
i didn’t see any of my classmates at the bus-stop.
and i ended up chatting with her for sooo long.
to me, it’s quite long…cos’ itz been some time since i had talked for this long!
this goes to show how busy we are!

oh, talking about being busy, the principal announced to the school that there was this member of the public who complained that he/she saw a few of our sch students [including a prefect] walking around in a shopping centre.
and to the principal this meant ‘loitering’.
i guess many of us were rather unhappy hearing this.

and if i were the principal, i'd ask that person,
“aren’t you supposed to be working??”

sumtimes i really feel that some adults are very much
more free than us students!!

we seldom go out, and when we do,
they are not happy.
JUST what’s their problem??

i mean, what’s wrong with going out ritez?
don't tell me we can’t go out to have lunch or sumthing?
and it’s after the exams, we won’t possibly stay at home to study right?
furthermore, how often do we have time to go out?
we’ve been studying continuously for months
ever since we entered sec school.
and now, we don’t even have the right to go out to relax and have some fun?
we’d only have the opportunity to go out only after the exams,
and this means only about twice a year?? [not counting the holidays]
also, our holidays would be filled with hwk and extra lessons and cca…
so much so that we would hence be left with
very little recreational time for ourselves…

oh wellz…WADEVA!!
had this music appreciation thingy in the morning.
the teacher [who doesn’t behave like one] just talked about
the history of music and she once tried to sing along with the cds!
ewww~

our group of 5 did on human sculpture [siti insisted on doing it].
and it was a disaster.
we thought it was sumthing like a drawing
when that tch gave us a vanguard.
But after drawing 3 pics from siti’s inspirations,
the teacher claimed that the human sculpture was meant
to be a 3-d structure.
and we heard the she told us to draw 3 pictures!
oh manz…and she practically FORCED us all to
embarrass ourselves [she really said that] and pose
as the sculptures!
it was sooo maluating manz…

she said, “No, everybody in the group to do.
If one person malu herself,
everybody malu together!”

can u imagine that?
and she refused to accept our drawings and
forced us to lift up our hands to pose or wadeva..

were also meant to have a choral lesson today.
but it was cancelled for us as the class before us had supposedly angered the instructor and "chased" him out.

received our chi storybooks and we assumed that
we’d hafta read it during the hols.
wellz…AS USUAL!!
read part of the book in class during our free time.

oh yar…our class would be having a class t-shirt.
we'd each choose our fav. number.
I wanted to choose my birthdate,
but kim took my number!
so later I asked her to change to another number,
and – phew! – she agreed after some persuasion!
I mean, why should u fight with someone over a number
which is the other party’s birthdate?
even if u like that number, the other party would definitely
want it much much more than u do ritez??
and later i also saw jas and elizabeth fighting over their same birthdates!
hahz...

Thursday 29/5:
*..:: If you think and worry too much, you won't have a good time, just be patient.
What will come will come, and we will meet it when it gets here::..*
didn’t have lessons at all today because of a talk for the our whole level.
had maths olympiad training at 2 to 3.30pm,
then went to the e.hall for PSL training.

cancelled piano lesson today because of this PSL training.
at first, i thought that the sec 1 maths trail was together with this training.
and i thought it was compulsory.
so i cancelled the lesson and postponed it to next mon.
then later i heard that it was compulsory, so i changed the schedule back.
but just yesterday morning, i found out that while the maths trail was optional, the training was compulsory!!
arghh…so i had to change BACK again!!
but this time, the original time slot was taken,
hence i had to make do with an early time on mon afternoon.

the peeps were basically just fixing jigsaw puzzles and playing games before we came.
and when we came, we participated on the second jigsaw competition amongst the 4 groups with a strategy learnt from the first jigsaw game.

had some lessons on leadership and the session ended at 5.30pm.

Wednesday 28/5:
*..::High-T::..*
brought our normal load to school today, but none of the teachers came in to teach!
hence the whole class were practically playing the whole morning!!

came home rather early and quickly bathe to go out with my parents to have high-tea at Goodwood Park Hotel.
Hmm…there was a great variety of food… chinese, malay, western…*tastylicious!*
ate some cakes too…so we didn’t need a cake for me…
walked around Orchard Road but didn’t buy anything.
went home in the evening and we didn’t have dinner as we were simply so full!

Tuesday 27/5:
*..::Checking of Exam Scripts [2]::..*
got back physics, chem.., bio., english, lit and a.maths today.
many pple didn’t do well for physics, so i'm glad that i got at least a B.
it was really hard to score for this physics paper!

for chem., i was quite okay with the results.
but i went to mrs chew to ask her about this qn of section b of paper 2.
i mean, how can the smelly gas [methane] which moves 1.635 times faster than nitrogen take a shorter time??
and she said that she knew and others had told her about it.
so in the end, her answer was wrong and she changed everyone’s marks.
and YAY! i got 3 MORE MARKS for the chem. paper!
i'm very happy with this mark, which is just slightly lower than my d.maths results.

Monday 26/5:
*..::Checking of Exam Scripts [1]::..*
got back d.maths, hcl and e.geog exam papers today.
rather happy with my maths results,
but i was short of one more mark to be top in the whole level manz!
nevertheless, i'm still satisfied with this! =D

as for my hcl, the marker miscalculated my marks for the summary,
so i went to get more marks.
and guess what, not only did the teacher give me back the 1.5 marks, she also gave me an additional mark as the mark for the ‘content’ fell under a better range for ‘language’! =D

but e.geog was the worst!
wellz…it hasn’t been too good for me for geog so far…
and hence, i hope my social studies marks would be able to pull up this for a better mark for combined humanities!

went out with cheryl to the heeren this afternoon.
she didn’t want to change out of her sch-u just becoz she was afraid that there would be cameras in the toilet!
but i managed to persuade her to do so as it would simply be better
to walk around with our casual wear.

walked around and bought this cute badge with my alphabet on it,
while cheryl bought her pencil case.
went to take neos with her,
and i found out that she didn’t like taking pics.
she felt that it’s a waste of money and time,
and she didn’t find a need to take fotos.
but in the end, i managed to get her to take with me.
there was also once when she even thought of not taking
after we’ve waited in the queue for sooo long!!

thought of going to far east, but after some walking,
we agreed that FAR east was indeed too FAR.
so we parted at the mrt, and i walked around J8 for a while before heading home.

Saturday 24/5:
*..::One should learn to accept what one can't changed
but change what one can::..
my parents fetched me to suntec at 4pm where i met moi friends.
tot that it would only be me, serene, desflin and tiffany,
but when they appeared there were also siti, clarissa, cheryl and alethea...8 of us in all!!
didn't expect the group to be sooo big, but nevertheless, it was good to have so many of them around.

wrote a note of encouragement for the healthcare workers on a piece of cloth and got this pink ribbon.
later went up to take neos.
took 3 altogether, and they turned out quite nice...*beams*

met my parents at 6.30pm at carrefour where we went home...
