Monday 20 June 2005: my.. ONE more week left of the june hols!! gahh. and what am i doing now? still on the com. hmms. oh wells, it was another day gone yesterday. [happy fathers' day!! :) ] headed to orchard mrt to meet xi ying wei loong and terry at 1. yong bin was late so xy and i didn't see him, cos after getting the stack of survey forms from wei loong we split into pairs to go about doing our task.
managed to get my first survey completed from this young lady waiting at the mrt. we found that the mrt was the better place to find "targets" as compared to the shops. but doing this at town still isn't as good as at the neighbourhood shopping malls though.
anyways, after hanging about trying to identify possible persons to approach, i decided to leave for senja at 2. so xy called up wl and told him that we'll be going somewhere further to complete our surveys. then he told us to meet up later, and of course we refused to. HAHA. so yeps, headed off to senja for ycf rehearsal, also cos i thought that i'd be able to get quite a number of surveys done there too. (true wad, i indeed went further away from town, and completed some surveys) hee. =D
haha some time after i entered the centre there were a few familiar faces smiling at me (yeah so i smiled back lar), but i was wondering wad are their names. -grins- then during the break later was just chatting with ced and ron, when suddenly i realised that ced was trying to take my foto! noo… and he kept asking, cos he had a new fone so all his prev. pics were del. hahah. nah..
well today's session was a combination of all the performances from hq3. so i saw some friends that i've not been seeing for ages. heh. also saw that qd's doing quite well in his item too! ahaha he actually came to me to say goodbye! (cos we seldom talk during chingay practices, and i didn't know who he was until the last few trainings heh) and as i watched his item, i really got the feeling of people heading in diff. directions in life (in this case, after chingay). okay i may not be making sense here. neh mind.
anyhow, the buncha us got down to cck for dinner after the whole thing ended at 7. after taking goodness-how-long to settle down at the foodcourt we finally could buy our food. haha. it's always been this way. oh and we saw marcus' 2 little bros today too. omg his younger bro had a ear piercing! i'm not sure of his age, but he looked like he's in upper pri or lower sec.. well, like what my lit teacher back in sec sch always said, "childrens nowsadays ar..."
went up to the arcade with the rest after dinner. i wasn't there to play though, just wanted to look around, stay for a few minutes and stuff. haha ivan played this firing game and his score was quite good. lol. and oh my some games are just too violent lar.. little wonder in the increase of violence among youths in this times. okay this sounds like gp. lol.
left the place just before 9 and we had to travel back from the other side of the country! haha. but as what many ppl say, the journey back is always faster than the one to the destination. true enough, i got home in less than 1 hr 15 min! ahahas. (=
