played for the ballet exam yesterday.
whole day of work; whole day of non-stop music; whole day of... repetitions too.
nonetheless it was as pleasurable as it was elevating! (:

anyways, it's rather disheartening to see that some of the lil girls just don't smile at all. even when some of them did, it was evident that they had been told to do so. it really wasn't comforting to see graceful strokes accompanied by such dull, unspirited faces.

it's also disturbing to observe that some of the young ones don't really comprehend the words of another english-speaker who comes from a foreign land. does this mean that they're only comfortable with the 'english' here peppered with our familiar local style of speaking aka singlish?

anyhow, first exam paper today. yea it didn't help that i was wholly taken up by work yesterday! severe lack of rest was compensated for this afternoon though (:
