vj had the vip open house yesterday afternoon and today morning. heh. there was the coaching session yesterday and i'd be bumming around the room and sometimes check out wassup outside at the concourse. lol. then at about 445 summer, mona/emma, junqi/enqing went to the piano there to kinda perform. and ooh it was really hilarious when we saw that mona hit the pedal as though she had some enmity with the piano!! ahhaha.. cos we said we had to play real loud, with all the noise around the place. yups. and junqi/enqing's spanish dance was nicee too. haha pefita was saying that she saw this "potential vip" boy sorta engrossed with the song and was moving with the beat for their piece. lol..


and towards the end of the coaching session we heard whiny whiny from our room!!!!! aaahh. been some time since we last mass danced.. wahahah then mr ku was telling mona and i to go outside and dance with the rest if we wanted to. aiyah neh mind lar. and urghh i'm still alien to many of the other dances! sherilyn i need a crash course from u!! =D


as for today, we had summer, yanning, khee chun to play. okay the first two items were okay. then khee chun started playing.. whoa.. he appeared and sounded pro lar (as usual).. but just as we were feeling good about the whole thing... none of us expected that he actually stopped halfway and couldn't continue. aaaaahh. and he turned and looked at our direction, and then kinda covered his face!! =/ oh my we couldn't believe it lar. he could have like just ended anyhow as though it was some abstract thingy and sound cheem, but definitely not just stop there. gahh. then i heard that they said some of the band ppl were laughing. oh wells.


and we spent much of the rest of our time entertaining ourselves in our room. it was almost like going to sch today to play the piano lar. ahahas. mona yanning kc me attempted to play the 8 hands' waltz from faust, and it was kewl! very fun too. lol. and it was also nice duet-ing with mona for valse trise, even though all these pieces were not ours. heh. we also discussed on our live ad thing after that. and yanning mona shangqian me carried it over into our lunch at parkway too. well all 6 of the exco ppl were here today. except christine heh.


saw the whole buncha icomp peeps towards pp too. and met jeslyn too with the rest of her chung cheng clever friends also! :) all score dunno-how-many A1s for o's one lar.. haha. well today was really filled with much fun & laughter. it's like supa funny at times, esp when all of us came up with some crap abt the sequences and stuff. hee.. X)


then isa came while we were finishing up our discussion. and we saw pok too!! whoa... he's entering the national swimming finals. all the best ya? so after that we headed to town and the journey dere took goodness-how-long. anyways i bought my slippers (= and we recce-ed around cine, heeren and taka.


heh i was really ballooned a couple of times today man.. hee


wahaha so now i don't hafta act as eunice olsen for the live ad already =P we've changed the whole plot. yay. heee. and mona's head was filled with the waltz song then [well just as i was the other time], march militaire is occasionally lingering around my mind after that. see the after-effects of spending so much time at the piano.. lol. ;))

ensemble ended rather late today. well there wasn't any mtg for the live ad in the end, and the rehearsal at 430 today was.... oh my i had to complete some tasks at the same time today lar. chks asked me to get ppl to play for the vip open house this fri and sat and tell him by 5pm [and it was 445 then], and the next moment i was being asked to start the whole session. like how lar.. that's why having two mds is better. it was uber difficult to get the people to play tmr and sat, then at one moment he said to get duets while i already had one solo person, and at the next i could include solos as well. heh. and it's supa hard to get duets on one piano cos there's relatively limited repertoire. heh was almost practically running around, up and down the stage, to the piano room and back.. anyway in the end i managed to get four items..


oh wells. this month is really gonna be filled up with such stuff... and i just took another ten concert tickets to sell when i barely sold any of my current ones. cos sherilyn wants us to go back together to pl to sell 'em. the sales better get movin'. haha.


ooh and i also brought one box of cookies for the piano peeps. heh glad that they liked 'em :) and u get the sense of satisfaction too. ;) ..and they were all finished up quickly. hahas. yesterday too.. gave one box to kx and the senior class. and they said they were nicee. (=

and... this has never happened before. i can't believe it. someone please tell me that it should have been the other way round.. i feel so dumb.. =/

back to lessons today. anyway, i shall talk about the stuff that happened on sunday and yesterday first..

took the bus to toa payoh mrt on sunday morning and walked over to the nearby sports hall with celine from there. the ycf rehearsal started at 830am so i woke up uber early that day. ahh. well the whole thing was quite okay. but it was veryvery hot. hothothot. lol. heh and i think the fd's hiphop item’s kewl. ooh and the little kids from the lower pd were sooo cuuuteee!! waaah u see them shake their butts around and were supa enthu as they danced about... ahahah.. itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny...


anyhow, the whole thing ended at around noon or so, then ivan and i headed to buy the ingredients for our cookies. aha it's really good to get a guy to carry the whole basketful of dunno-how-many-kg sugar+flour+butter+eggs etc etc... Lol. then we waited for isa to meet us at mac's for lunch, only to find out that she had already eaten. oh wells. anw we started all the baking soon after that and we began by putting all the ingredients together. yups. and the fun began... :)


the whole kitchen got all messed up with the flour/dough/sugar spilled all over the table and floor. wahahah. and after adding the sugar into the huge mixing bowl we found that it was already half-filled! lol. but neh mind.. it's for making 200-over cookies... so not to worry.. haha. but the place wasn't the only thing that got dirty though... isa started to smeared flour on my face so i returned it to her too =Pp mwahaha. then we also had to use our hands to mix the whole bowl of dough with the six slabs of butter, and i started to dirty ivan!! LOL. yah lar, and i also kenna-ed too.. ahahas. until his neck also got. wahahah. ;) ooh and there's once when some of the dough dropped onto his feet, thanks to isa (dunno how she did it lar.. haha). so he "passed" it to her, and i also "received" it from her. pass it on pass it on...


so yeah, his collar got really unclean that he had to wash that part of his shirt!! ahhha. =D oh and once isa actually took the dough stuck on his collar... and uh-hmms... i shan't say where it went to.. =P heh don't worry everybody, it's all edible.. really.. well anyway, as usual, the first few tries couldn't make it. hee and isa had to leave just before evening to meet her friend. haha then later she msg-ed me to say that this lady sitting next to her in the bus asked if she went baking. lol. if that lady could guess that isa spent time in the kitchen i wonder about ivan. hmmms. hehe. and we managed to get decent cookies after some time. had loads of fun... hahas. oh and u must really be extra careful when doing stuff like baking.. i nearly slipped, but just managed to get my footing back on the ground before i fell. whoaa. that was close. and after everything we waited at the bus stop, and u can't believe it. the long-awaited bus just zoooomed past us. aaarghh!! neh mind. fortunately the next bus didn't take quite long heh. lol.


as for yesterday, isa came at 1+ to continue the rest of the job. whoa... glad that we managed to complete everything. yays~ then we quickly ate our dinner before we left to meet ivan joel aqs at lido. supposed to meet at 645pm but we really couldn't make it on time. oops. luckily there was the 725 slot for the movie war of the worlds. and when we first saw them and got to them i saw ivan laughing non-stop and i was wondering what was happening. aiyah i was slow lar. turned around and lol there was richie behind. and then ............ anyway he left right after we met while the five of us went into the cinema soon after.


anw war of the worlds was nice lar. just that sometimes it gets a lil' too gory. imagine seeing the alien craft embedding one of their many extensions into humans, sucking the blood/life out of them.. omg. and later u see all the whole place filled with blood vessels. gahhh. all red. even the seas and oceans. oh my. then there was this part where tom cruise's character and his daughter were asleep and she woke up after hearing something. silence.. then aaarghhh!!! one of those extensions just flew right in front of her! haha kinda screamed a lil' but the gal behind screamed even louder so i guessed no one heard me! heee.. and isa and i were like covering-our-eyes-but-still-watching at some parts!! lol.

and my oh my, some ppl actually killed one another just to grab hold of a car, as they got really desperate. and this character even used his bare hands to open up the broken glass hole of the car, so u could see all the blood smeared around. grotesque. and many were like saying that the ending was kinda anti-climax. cos the aliens were actually weaklings/losers who got defeated right from the start 'cause they drank our water, ate our food etc etc... but weren't immuned to all the viruses around, unlike humans.


anyhow the movie really dawned upon us not to take for granted all the goodness that we have now. life is fragile. just see how sooo many of the victims got exterminated by getting zapped and vanishing into thin air. eww. and at the end of it all it isn't really the advancement and development and all that matters, but the relationships between humans and the spirit of mankind. yups. overall, good show. go catch it. ;)))

school today was fine. recess was quite interesting. yah isa? lol. ooh and it was sooo sweet to hear pple telling u that the cookies were yummy and stuff. thanks!! =] and when siew ming's friend offered us one of the cookies that she bought, we really thought that ours were no match for those kind. but vanessa actually told us that the bought cookie tasted like those new year cookies and that she preferred our cookies!! aaahh.. thanks! heh chen ting also enjoyed 'em and even joked about giving some to his mother and sis and etc etc at home to try. lol. and while some pple preferred the bite-size ones tricia liked the bigger cookies. good good. ahhaha. :)) anyway i brought four boxes of cookies and managed to distribute 1.5 boxes so far. hope to be able to meet our senior class peeps tmr to let 'em try. (=
