Friday 5/9:
*..::Piano Exam::..*
had cyberweek [which lasted for 3 days] on tue to thu this week. the assignments were rather okay, just that many of us had difficulty answering two of the physics questions…

well, had my piano exam today. my scales and appergios weren’t that good, with some slips here and there as well as 2 wrong answers! the examiner asked me for one scale, “did that sound like minor to you?” oh manz…it was so embarrassing and fortunately i got a second chance to play the correct scale. overall, the pieces and sight-reading were quite okay [i hope]. as for the aural, gah…i couldn’t really figure what the bass was and i just sang whatever i could! and i didn’t get the correct pitch for some of the notes in sight-singing too. also for the last part, which is understanding the music being played, i didn’t really know what to say…and i think i commented very little on it!! when i named the period[i don’t even know if it’s correct!], i forgot to name a possible composer!! -yikes!- just hope that the overall was okay!!

went back to school and it was then the end of the colours award presentation. so i headed
straight to class to wait for the others. received some maths ws which i have no idea how to go about it [the teacher didn’t even teach anything about it!] as well as my term results. gahh. not much difference from term 1’s…’cause my chem. marks pulled me down [all thanks to that stupid test where i didn’t know what i was doing!]…

many of us were already leaving the school when ms gan made the announcement for all of us to go back to our classrooms to clean up. cheryl, clarissa and i were then walking along the walkway, while ho ying was already outside at the BUS-STOP! well, we just had to turn back and basically stayed in the classroom waiting to be dismissed…

got home, bathed, had lunch [yum...the spaghetti was tastilicious!], did a bit of chem. and then had an afternoon nap. and the sleep really freshened me up manz! didn't know i was so tired…and i slept for 1hr plus! then got down to tuition and it started 15 mins later than usual. the best thing was that there wasn’t anybody else going for the class then! only after a few mins when i entered the room, 2 other peeps came in. then during the lesson a while later 3 others arrived. and altogether there were practically only the 6 of us!! well…it must be that today’s the last day of the term before the September hols!

Saturday 30/8:
*..::the 3 (long) bus-stop walk::..*
had dinner with my parents and grandma at a chinese restaurant in the afternoon, before going to tampines for a graduation ceremony for the FDs at 2.30pm…
well it went rather okay…and when it ended and i took bus 72 home, i didn’t alight before the bus turned into a corner..so in the end i missed by 2 stops!!
anyway, got down and walked one bus stop where i decided to walk TWO MORE bus stops from there!!! hahs. besides it’s good exercise too! and i didn’t have to wait for another bus to change to…
the verdict: i didn’t perspire much nor did i feel very tired after the rather long walk…

Friday 29/8:
*..::Freaky Friday!!::..*
had our teachers’ day celebration at the hall and i must say this year’s performance was rather good…yea...lots of rapping here and there…and my mum also took part in the parents’ dance too!! :)))

anyway, went home after the celebration while des and siti followed jenn home..
siti changed, but jenn didn’t as she decided to “accompany” des in wearing the sch-u. tiff couldn’t make it as she had to attend the colours award presentation rehearsal. well, we immediately went to book tics for the movie Freaky Friday and only saw that the earliest was at 4.10pm…then suddenly the screen flashed out some available seats for the 3.10pm show!! how lucky we are! got the tics and went down to have lunch at mos burger before heading up again to catch the show…

hah...we actually watched Freaky Friday on a Friday!! alrightey, siti and i bought large popcorns which were salty [we decided to try the salty ones] ..and i found that i've been popping popcorns into my mouth for half an hour into the show and i had only finished half the large pack of popcorns!! and the popcorns were quite salty that i didn’t finish them in the end…so i can now proudly declare that sweet popcorns are MUCH better than the salty ones!!

the show was pretty good, and there were many parts that were rather hilarious…oh and siti and i liked the part where the mother made the ‘cool’ gesture with 3 of her fingers, so much so that we also used this in our neos later after the show…

anyhow, missed tuition as i couldn’t get back in time. by the way, i took bus 81 and after about half an hour or so, i found that i was still in pasir ris!! gahh. and in the end i got home rather late…

Wednesday 27/8:
*..::Bear-Snatcher!::..*
had our idpw presentation today. our group was the only one which presented in front of ONLY the 2 teachers!! well anyways, it went rather fine and we received quite positive feedbacks from the teachers. but the sad thing is, when i came out of the 4b2 classroom, i found the koala bear on my bag missing!!! :X -sobs- gahh..and it’s 99.999999…% stolen, ‘cause the series of rings under the main ring was cut off…so it must be that the bear was definitely tugged off my bag!! arghhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(((

got home earlier today as there wasn’t any EIA today. -yeah!- then headed to ps with my mum via the train to practise at the exam studio. met my piano teacher at the venue and she helped me out. :D wellx, the piano’s rather soft, but i slipped a bit here and there…hope it’ll be fine on the actual day!!

the session was supposed to last for half an hour [6-6.30pm], but since no one came in at 6.30pm, we decided to carry on for a lil’ while more…-shhh!- so we left the room at 6.45pm…my teacher even wanted to stay on somemore!! but i thought that wasn’t very good…yah..

ate dinner with my mum at the food court before heading to toa payoh to look and shop around…there wasn’t much to buy, and i only bought a pair of earrings..
took the train home and reached home at about 9+…

*..::5 Lit Essays!!::..*
since i was out the whole afternoon yesterday, i had to do all my homework today. i had report writing, FIVE lit essays and more…yeaps...though we only had to write a few paragraphs for each essay, i guess my essays turned out more like full writings, and i took quite some time for all the 5 essays!!

Saturday 23/8:
*..::Up & Down the NEL::..*
took the train down to PS with my dad at 11+ to book for the exam studio and had brunch there..didn't find anything to buy there so we decided to take the train down to suntec city, and we landed up at marina bay! arghh. took the train UP the line and shopped at compass point, where i managed to get some stuff…oh and i like my new blouse too!! :)))))

Thursday 14/8:

didn’t have to study for chi or bio test tmr, as we postponed the bio test to next week due to the chi test…and today the 2 other classes would have two other tests tmr, so we postponed the chi test to next monday…
and it’s also a good thing as i wasn’t able to study anything on thu night, as dunno-what-food caused me to throw out that night…and i went to bed slightly earlier than usual…~

Tuesday 12/8:
*..::Back to School::..*
just came back from school about a hour or so ago…
well as usual, zuo wen ban in the afternoon on tuesdays!~
had chem. test today, and because i didn’t so much of my tys, i already had quite a couple of mistakes!! :|
and to think that i've actually spent quite some time studying for it last night…just right past midnight!
oh wadeva, just hope that the results won’t come out that bad…

*..::Day of Relaxation::..*
didn’t do much today...practically spent most of my afternoon sleeping and resting!!
really felt so relaxed…;)
then did some hwk and watched tv at night…2 and a half non-stop of channel u’s last episode of colourful life..well the show got more interesting towards the end of the show…

Monday 11/8:
*..::Yay! No School!!::..*
our pri and sec sch didn’t have to attend school today, cos’ the school felt that we ought to have a break after our success & effort of friday's funfair…hurray!! =D

went to ho ying’s house at 10am, and together with siti, the 3 of us planned for our idpw presentation…serene couldn’t come as she had to attend a friend’s bdae party…
hahah..the session was filled with laughter cos’ siti was like trying to come out with comical actions for our skit and stuff…wonder if we could really do exactly like that on the actual presentation!! =P

got home at around 3pm and had a nap before starting on my lit essay..
then studied for tmr’s chem. test after dinner and some tv…

Saturday 9/8:
*..::Happy 38th Birthday Singapore!!::..*
went out with my family in the late morning to Suntec’s Carrefour to buy coffee…
then headed to bukit timah to have our brunch…yum~ the food was great!
drove to the nearby turf city for some shopping…and woa..the place was really crowded!!
and we soon got home before catching the NDP on tv…
later stayed up till 12.30pm to watch a hk show starring louis koo…
but i didn’t finish watching it cos’ it was too late…

Friday 8/8:
*..::Double Celebration
– National Day Observance Ceremony cum Funfair::..*

had our national day observance ceremony in the morning till 9+ before starting to set up our stalls…

the funfair started officially at 10am, and i, together with some friends, got all around the primary school first…and wow! the carpark of the pri sch was really filled with fun rides – gigantic blown-up slides shaped of a sabre-toothed tiger...the tea-cup…choo-choo train…blah~

headed up to the hall for some candy floss and games…randomly rolled a ball down and it landed in a black compartment…just next to the gold one which could have won me a better prize! well we got a white heart-shaped balloon and gave it away…also tried making the frog jump into the bowl in front of me, but couldn’t make it three times!! hah..nvm…got a consolation prize [a magnet] and visited my sis’ basketball stall where her friends tended it…threw once – miss! threw again – missed again! one more time – yes! - yay!- …and i won a magic sponge!! ;)

walked around the pri and sec schools twice when i went back to our ‘balloon affair’ stall to rest and help around at 1+…oh and my mum also went to help out by selling drinks and deserts at the pssg stall…and i was practically pumping balloons non-stop and perspiring throughout my 3.5 hrs shift!! and i also won myself an archie comic! =D

the prizes our stall offered really attracted people – there were many people who came to play cos’ they wanted the archie comics, or even the 2 digital cameras!!

here's the list of the sugary stuff i took today:-
- 2 cans of drinks
- 1 packet of justea
- 1 candy floss shared with cheryl and another with my sis
- 1 cup of root beer with vanilla ice-cream in it
- 1 raspberry ice-cream
- 1 cup of some mixed soft drink [think it’s sprite + rose syrup]
- …and more!!

also ate other stuff which made me rather full…and the chicken satay with satay sauce was yummy!! :)

then met ho ying and serene later to walk around some more and took a photo together at our class’ ‘funky feel’…finished my coupons, but ho ying was left with like $14..that she donated them into her ‘fashion love’ stall’s coupon tin…

our funfair was extended for another 15 mins so that it’ll end at 5.15pm due to overwhelming response…and at the carpark it was announced that our class was the 3rd in the school in raising the most money!!- cheers! - :))))) [we missed by only $7 to the 2nd class! and later we learnt that cheryln found $8 coupons on the floor near them but didn’t put them into our tin…if not, we’d be the runner-up manz!! but nevertheless, we had fun and in the top three!]

the next funfair would be held 4 years later…in 2007…
