Thursday 9 June 2005: had to be in school at 10am this morning. again. my. i wonder how many hours i've actually spent for vjcpe ever since the start of this june hols. oh wells, this is all part of the experience. it’s worth it. :)) anyway, shang qian was the only one at the concourse when i arrived. hahas. then ee hiang and yanning soon came too. went to the pt soon after, and after some time of slacking around and yakking we finally had work to do. heh. yanning and i went to the piano room to get the cd for the barber pieces for the drama peeps but it was locked. so she called mr b. chan over and he kindly helped us enter it. ;) ..but only to find that the cd’s been taken by someone. :/ anyhow we got back to the pt, and i was telling the others who wanted to know what we just did.. and there’s one point in time when i mentioned “basil chan” without the “mr”.. then someone gave me a signal and i turned to my left, only to find mr chan just nearby!! gosh. well.. it’s not that i was saying anything bad or what about him right? hee.



well soon after.. chanks came, and he asked mona and i to help in the filling up of the particulars of the participants in the marking schemes. total forms to fill: 21 X 3(judges) = 63. heh but with the help of a few others it was qed. =] then there was the filling in of envelopes to contain all those letters to be posted to several schools (secondary, jcs and polys) and institutions. hee we had to waste some limited envelopes due to error here and there, and when chanks came back again ee hiang really took them and hid them!! lol. all of us had been wanting to go for lunch at around 2, but all these dragged on till more than an hour. and just as we were going out of the sch (finally), chanks called up daphne and said we had to seal all the envelopes! -!!!- oh well, used water, dipped our fingers in, and applied it across dunno-how-many seals. then finally, yes finally, we were free. hahah shang qian was like telling all of us to switch off out handphones so that no one could contact us and make us to any more work! we’ve had enough!! yes! wahaha.



went down to parkway and by the time we had lunch it was four. oh my. wasn’t sure if it was lunch, tea, dunch or linner. ahahas. ate at yoshi before shang qian ee hiang yanning and i went to buy the stuff needed for tmr’s vivace competition. budget was 50 bucks from rj and we really had to calculate the prices and choose goods that were more worthwhile. food.. drinks.. clipboard.. thank-you cards.. in the end we spent around $42 and guess what.. we decided to treat and reward ourselves to éclairs! LOL. it was ard 5 bucks and we were saying it was like one dollar plus for each of us.. so it’s definitely not unreasonable. yes. so we bought it. and came up with a plan to make sure we’ll be able to eat them ourselves tmr. but not sure if it would really work. hope so! hahah. then when we walked out of the mall to wait for shang qian’s mum to pick him up and bring back all the stuff we saw tan yew hwee and his wife? so we all smiled as he past by us.. and dunno why.. all of us felt a lil’ guilty!! haha. we shouldn’t.. right?? hmmms.



oh yar.. also met wei jie in school today. chatted for a while and after everything he was like saying, “haha.. how long have we been talking? half an hour?” lol. hadn’t been seeing him around! haha.. then when i returned to the pt ee hiang was telling me that if she didn’t know me she’d think that both of us were together?!? and she said we’ve been chatting for nearly half an hour! lol. oh and later at parkway we bumped into each other again as he and his friends were leaving and we just arrived. small world!


anyhow, the thick stack of ws on my table still hasn’t been touched. had thought of starting this week, but i went out on mon, had piano stuff from tue all the way till tmr. omg. how?? what if i can’t finish covering everything by the time this june hols end? ahh.

Wednesday 8 June 2005: went to sch at 8am today. session’s at pt. managed to practise a lil’ with nat before the rehearsal started, and it’s rather cool playing on the grand piano! =] yups. really liked the feel of it. slightly past 1030 i went to t12 for maths lesson. ms chuah tried to finish as much of the 3 topics that we sorta covered today. and she kept saying one of her arts class calculated for her how much she’d have to spend with us so as to finish up everything – 6 hours?!? well according to her that is. till 5pm or so. hahah. anyway we ended the lesson at about 1pm instead and after that zhongmin ivan joel chenting aqs nyb terry and i headed down to parkway. felt uber extra lah. couldn’t imagine having lunch with them! anyhow i went to meet yanning pefita and ee hiang at mos burger for lunch. heh many of the others were leaving by the time i entered the place! met the guys again at kfc and we recced parkway for some time, before zhongmin and i took the bus home. oh and i found out that some guys really have high expectations! haha okays. no comments yar. =P

Tuesday 7 June 2005: ahh thought i could start some work today but yea, in the end, i couldn’t. nat told me yesterday that i had to sit in for coaching today, but later she said don’t need already. then this morning when i woke up and checked my phone she said i had to go today. -!!!-



okay anyways, reached sch at 1.15 and sat for goodness-how-long beside the piano helping to page turn and stuff. heh. hahah there’s also once where i had to page turn for mr ku. hee at one time i was kinda day-dreaming maybe? so i ended up lagging in the turning of the page then. and he said, “okay lemme give you a crash course on page turning”. lol. and i couldn’t believe myself. the next time i turned i did so rather too early! oops. yea as expected, he give me that look after he finished the piece. ahahas. then he was like saying, “you wanted to test me out right? fortunately i still remembered the beats”. -grins-


anyhow, also got to at least touch the piano and receive some guidance today while waiting for claire & mingli’s session to start. oh wells, cca’s been taking up some of my time nowadays. hope i'll be able to cope! :)))

Sunday 5 June 2005: woke up rather early this morning but in the end i was still in time (not earlier! :/) for ycf training today. heh cos blk c had to meet up half an hour earlier to practise a song item as a spirit booster for the training later. hmms. anyway, kept practising the running-ins and stuff today. also got to know some other people in my blk better. then lunched at harborfront (as usual).. chatted.. crapped etc.


after that i took the train down to orchard to meet my mum. haha she was asking me who i thought would reach there earlier! lol. anyhow that afternoon was just simply filled with walking!! was contemplating whether to wear black or white on the day of the piano concert. you see, the two grand pianos are black. my partner told me that she would be wearing black. so much black! hahah. so i thought perhaps white would be nice. yups. after browsing countless shops all over orchard i finally got the skirt i had in mind! yayers! =] and after buying the skirt we were like oh no… it’s off-white, and so many tops around were just white! searched around till we were rather tired, so as my mum rested i went one storey down at taka, and i went into this shop (which i already had in mind too, should have just gone there earlier lar).. looked around.. saw this not-so-white top.. took out my skirt.. and whoa! their colours simply matched! the exactly same tone! :))) kinda ran up.. brought my mum down.. tried it out, plus another top that the salesgirl showed which was of the same colour too, and requested for the latter. so yeps, finally settled everything! ;)

Friday 3 June 2005: there’s meant to be a class outing yesterday afternoon at orchard but i don’t know what the one we had should be called, since only 5 people turned up. had cca meeting from 10 to 1 to discuss about the upcoming live ad for our concert, then i boarded the bus down to cine with ivan. isabel and yumin soon came, after which was joel. wei jie’s supposed to come too, but he called up last minute to say he couldn’t. oh wells. there goes yumin’s “blind date”. haha. he was asking me what’s the girl’s name, while yumin also asked who’s the guy. lol. then he also asked “how’s the new fella like?”. heh yumin was like…“what new fella huh? i was the one who was in the class before him!” hahahah.



anyways, the four of us went to the foodcourt for lunch, but we 3 gals decided to have long john’s food instead. haha. so we bought take-aways from there to eat at the foodcourt. after lunch and some crapping here and there isabel left for her netball training in school. the remaining three of us walked over to borders and we found ourselves very interested in the self improvement section! yumin and i also found the covers of some books rather cool and nice, so we ended up taking pics of them on our hp too! lol.


walked back to cine where i also met ced and shawnrick. headed up to play pool. heh pairing up with yumin against the guys definitely helps! thanks yumin!! haha. had dinner at mac’s at taka, but i only had mcflurry ice cream ‘cos i was still very full. rushed down to syc with ivan after that and oh man, we were uber late! :/ oops. nevertheless, we managed to catch up with the training and stuff. yeps. Sunday 8 May 2005: happy mothers’ day!! came back from ycf training at syc some time ago. was actually contemplating if i should go for it in the morning at 8am since i had to finish some homework and it was also raining heavily then. well in the end ivan and i decided to go when the rain was lesser. then it was raining cats and dogs again at harbourfront. yes, ivan, so many animals die yar. lol.



came late at 1045 and fortunately they were just starting on the first set of new steps. training was basically okay today. played the blanket game also. haha in the end both sides won. ;) yeps we are all winners! went to harbourfront mall after that, and jun hui found that his handphone was stolen in the bus on the way there. yikes. so many of us were crowding around and trying to help him. well in the end he said he’ll terminate his line and will go to the police station near his home to report it. hope everything will be okay!


had lunch and ivan quickly left after eating cos he had to meet up with his group members at wei jie’s house at novena to discuss pw. and oh yar i JUST found out that i've been paying the adult fare since dunno-when. ivan just changed back to student fare but i didn’t do so since i wasn’t really sure about mine. then i saw that i paid $1.29 for my mrt ride!! omg. no wonder i've like been hearing one beep when i tap my card in the buses and seeing the green light at mrt stations nowadays. perhaps it’s been one week, since he told me his card expired on 1 may. oh wells, gotta renew it asap. heh isabel just called up to tell me “stories”. she was saying that the second pw group perhaps wasn’t that nice after all. and she told me that they discussed pw till 2am on saturday morning, but still hadn’t reached an agreement. heh ivan also told me that he had to wake up at 8am the next morning after that too! oh my. some internal conflict. haha it seems like isabel and i will have this session every sunday! either side will call each other up and we discuss about some stuff. interesting. lol. Sunday 29 May 2005: it’s been some time since i last blogged. many things and events have happened since then. there have been all those *1* piano coachings and stuff, including the interview (0505) and speech (1205) for exco. and yay! got the exco results on the 18th and i'm the new MD. (= didn’t expect to get that position. but i’m happy about it. yups.



then there are the annual *2* vj concerts. did ushering duty on 0605 for drama nite and attended Resonance on 2105. it was really cool. especially for the showmanship! and the 6 guest performers from some harmoc ensemble were just brilliant! emcee-ing was good too. here’s the joke: A couple went into mac’s and the guy asked his gf: “Donkey, what would u like to eat?” Then this lady who stood around heard it and was curious as to why this guy called his gf “donkey”. So she went up and asked the girl why, and the girl replied: “Ya hor.. He hor.. Very bad hor..” lol. oh and there was also this racist joke that the emcee himself said (he’s an indian by the way): Do you know why i'm wearing white and not black, while all the others are wearing black? …’cos if i do all of you would not be able to see me then. heh. anyway, yea, we really enjoyed the concert. glad that i attended it! :)



also went to nyjc’s piano concert on 200505. heh it was held at their lect theatre, so it kinda felt like we were attending a lecture then! okay, well, just a lil’ la. that's why i appreciate vj’s performance theatre! it really gives you the proper ambience and environment for the performance of the arts! =] well, back to the concert. throughout it there was only one grand piano for the duets. and some of the pieces were meant for two hands only, according to shang qian. heh. but on the good side, there were special performances by the teachers too. yea, so it was okay overall i guess.



then there’s the *3* soccer finals on 250505. vj against mj. at the national stadium. ooh and i met siti there! long time no see gurl! hahas. anyway, it was especially exciting at the second part of the match. it was still 1-1 and in the end we had to settle for the penalty shots. oh man our team missed by a shot so mj won. :/ there goes our full day off. oh wells. but isabel and i, as well as many others at the match then, were like..ahhh!! lol. had a fair share of screaming too haha. well but at least we had a more-than-half day off on fri 270505, for all the achievements in syf and the other sports like hockey girls, softball girls… =] heh xi ying elma and i were the only girls were went to school that day. the guys, as usual larh, present. were dismissed at 950am, but i had cca till 1230pm heh. the tickets for our piano concert were then distributed to us. any takers? hahah



oh there was also the *4* napfa going on in may too. did 5 items on 0405 with xi ying and the guys, while the girls had their run, due to some reasons. gahh everything was fine except sbj! argh.. missed by 3cm? neh mind. had my run the next wed on 1105. yes, with the guys again. didn’t turn out as traumatising as i thought it would be since the guys would run uberly fast and like nobody’s business. lol. glad that xi ying was around to run together. :) oh my when i was on my 4th round or something i saw some guys already finishing their last round! omg. anyways, managed to run continuously and not stop halfway or something. when i was done i heard 14.43. don’t know what i was hearing or where it came from, cause when they read out the timings later it actually turned out to be 15.01 instead! okays. false hope la. thought i brought my previous record of 14.58 and was like so happy. hahah. but i'm still glad with my result lar.



SO the main problem here would thus be sbj. tried it after the run and i managed to hit my target! ARGH! what is this?! getting it at the wrong time! well i really wanted to get the gold award so the next wed on 1805 i took the 5 items again. started off with sbj first and woo hoo! ahahaha reached my target mark and the teacher there was like asking if i practised. lol. nah but was just trying out on my own last week and just before the actual test yar. i was kinda literally hopping towards the next station after that. haha. my timing improved for shuttle run too! heh our pe teacher was wondering too after isabel said i must have taken steroids!! and the best thing was that i just recovered from flu four days ago and wasn’t in really good condition then. sit-and-reach also improved, while some of the items weren’t better than the previous scores though. but anyhow, i was still very glad that i got what i wanted. yups. ;)))



we also had *5* spa for chem. skill b on 0905, and it was skills c & d the following mon. skill b was fine. :) then for skills c & d we kinda heard from vanessa that her friends told her their correct results. so we went in, started calculating and stuff. and argh. i found that after some repeated calculations i still couldn’t arrive at those correct figures. ahh it really flustered me out and my nose then was practically non-stop runny. but in the end we discovered that our qns were different. so yeps. phew.



*6*also took up salsa lessons which started since 4 may. every wed at 4pm. so yup, i'm in dance soc. heh wasn’t sure whether to continue dance at first before that, cos it was syf then and after 2 sessions during the first 3 months practices stopped for quite some time. but nevertheless, i'm now in piano and dance. yups. so i won’t be joining netball already.. haha dance’s really lacking in the number of guys. the ratio of gals to guys is like.. 3:1? and it’s like we keep having to change the guy partner cos everyone has to have her turn. ahahah and i'm also in the 2 ccas which have the most gals/ least guys. lol.



*7*majestia was held on 27 may. it was the half-day off after the ultra-long assembly that day. lunched at sakae with mona ee hiang and yanning. haha we also saw chanks later when he came along with a few other teachers. then met isabel and we walked over to her place to watch the recordings of the two drama shows. square pegs last episode and the dolphin bay one which i missed. spent some time on her com and msn-ing that i left her house later that i had planned to do so. so yeps, rushed back home, bathed, rushed back to meet her and yumin ivan aqs at parkway for dinner. didn’t have much time so both of us settled for pastries from breadtalk. haha. but we were still late and in the end we had to wait for the first item to finish before we could enter the pt. gahh it was overly packed and many people had to sit on the stairs! anyway overall the performance was alright, though isabel and i both thought the harmoc one was more exciting and had better showmanship? heh.



*8*yesterday: my b’day. haha after i got back from the band concert the night before and showered isabel already started msg-ing things like “enjoy your last moments of being 16!” lol. then she called and wished me a while later when she thought it was 12am! there were still a few minutes to go, dearie. but thanks for all yar! so later she tried spamming my inbox in my hp, and later many of the class guys also wished me. thankew!! ;)) then i had to decide about tmr’s class outing. so set. sentosa in the afternoon.



isabel found out sms-ing isn’t that efficient after all. she helped to msg everyone and many people (esp. the guys) were all asking, “who’s going?”. so as a result, no one would confirm! neh mind. in the end it was kinda settled and we were delayed due to this. hahas. anyways, met wei loong at harborfront mrt station, and from there both of us plus ivan and isabel took the bus down to sentosa – siloso beach. heh soon after we reached there this guy approached isabel and i and at first we both thought oh no.. not another survey or something. then he was saying something like, “we’re from a magazine and we’re trying to feature babes…” erm and before i had time to think about anything isabel gave some excuse and i was whisked off. lol.



well after that the four of us started playing “volleyball”. cos aiyah somehow we just couldn’t play it well that day. hahah. we also played badminton! hah playing that at sentosa?!? hee.. anyway i was being teased a lot that day lar. =P then at the later part of the afternoon nyb aqs joel came to join us. oh and it was nice sitting at the wooden bridge.. dipping your feet into the cool water and chatting about stuff. =]



haha the guys also tried dunking joel into the water but well they didn’t in the end since he didn’t bring extra clothes. headed to orchard to dine at swensen’s. and i was pleasantly surprised when an ice-cream cake was suddenly served to me!! wow! haha no wonder almost all the guys at one time just went somewhere without telling us! thanks a lot! :)))



had an enjoyable time that day with ya all! thanks! u all made my day.. =]


then the next morning i had ycf practice. hadn't had it for like.. 2 weeks already? yeps. nevertheless, managed to catch up. had lunch with the other vj peeps and it was a time of dialogue and yakking.. ;))

Saturday 7 May 2005: whoa our pw group is actually quite efficient! i asked xi ying and wei loong if they wanted to meet up this afternoon and after some messaging we settled for his house. haha at first he said his com had some problem, and the next moment he told me he fixed his com already! so fast man. hahas. so we met at hougang mrt station at 3pm, and as i was walking along the station i kinda saw 3 guys from far and i thought that they looked like my friends. so i didn’t notice wei loong and yong bin when i missed and past by them! lol. so the next thing was that i saw their faces staring at me when i just past them. ahahah. oops! =P better still, i stopped immediately upon seeing them and actually slided a lil’ forward! (not that i was gonna fall though). heh maybe due to inertia yea. haha. xi ying soon walked over from the bus interchange.



so the four of us walked to his house which was nearby and we brainstormed for new ideas for our first draft of gpp. decided to think up of a new idea instead of using one of ours since we thought we could perhaps use the opportunity of submitting a draft to come with a better and brand new idea that allowed for ms chow to comment on. if she didn’t like it we could then revert back to one of our ideas. yups. and we evaluated each person’s idea to see if it was good enough for our gpp and the whole project too. finally thought up of one new idea which we considered for a while before deciding to use it at 5+pm. researched a lil’ about it to get some idea of it on the net, and i left at 615. anyway i didn’t go for the girls’ outing today. they are going to watch a movie though. anyhow, my parents and i drove down to j8 for dinner to celebrate mothers’ day one day in advance. oh my every restaurant was packed and we had to wait for a while before dining at crystal jade. my bowl of noodle with roasted duck was yummilious! ;)) ooh and i liked the dish of fried cuttlefish with pepper & salt too! haha. walked around after that and i bought 2 sling bags!! :)


as for yesterday (Friday 6 May 2005), vj had drama nite. was on duty for ushering through piano ensemble and about 45 mins after the show started at 730pm i was able to go up and catch the rest of the show. haha. missed a lil’ of the first show of a girl in a japanese setting, but fortunately i caught the whole of the second show – ‘private parts’. yup as the name suggests, this show talks about transsexuals and 3 individuals who underwent a sex change. well it’s a lil’ sick to a certain extent, but kinda humourous. and i should really say that the guy (tan choon yong from cat. high) who acted as mirabella, was fabulous. he could also look convincing in the way he dressed, and towards the end of the show he was wearing this short mini skirt and i heard that people could see his butt crack when the skirt accidentally dropped a lil’! haha. i didn’t see it lar. but really, his acting was really good. thumbs up for the show! after everything i took a taxi back home as it was already 11, and isabel took a lift too. haha one unhired taxi missed us and we were like…arghh. then in the taxi ivan messaged me and asked what we were shouting at. haha, no we weren’t lar. lol.

Thursday 5 May 2005: had interview for piano ensemble exco at 430 this afternoon. was kind of ‘practising’ some qns with isabel before that so as to prepare myself a lil’. was the second person in the list and when it was my turn i was being interviewed by a panel of more than 10 seniors plus chanks. basically it was…ok? i hope. just that my face turned real red at one point during the session. omg. then they asked about my weakness and after telling them about it they kinda kept focusing on it and asked qns here and there about it… “what if…” etc. anyway, i was lucky that some of the qns that i thought of beforehand actually came up. heh. :) and you really cannot lame in interviews, no matter how friendly your seniors are or whether you know them or not. well the auditions would be next thursday, which means that i gotta make a speech then. hmm…

Wednesday 4 May 2005: got our pw groupings today. actually we could have got them yesterday but a few of our class peeps had to redo their PIs such that all of us had to hand it up the next day instead. anyway, the groups are: [danny aqs siew ming elma isabel], [ivan joel wei jie brianna vanessa], [wei loong terry yong bin xi ying me], & [chen ting zhong yu zhong min tricia rachel]. yups. haha many of us thought that the second group was rather one of the best due to some reasons, but i'm okay with my group members. ;)) hope everything will go well.. cheers~

Saturday 30 April 2005: another class outing haha. the gals met at orchard mrt at 1pm and we shopped around wisma and taka before the guys came. heh i really shopped till i dropped! bought an op skirt/shorts, a pink halter top, and a belt :)) siew ming was the other one who managed to buy some stuff too. the rest of the gals didn’t though. heh joel and aqs came at 4pm and they walked around trying to find gifts for their icomp seniors. at first when they said “we need your help” to us some of us were thinking that they really needed our help in making them look better!! lol. anyway after all the shopping and stuff all of us had dinner at mos burger. yups.. ;)

Sunday 3 April 2005: finally watched finish the whole series of 100% Senorita (qian1 jin1 bai3 fen1 bai3). heh i was watching it on friday night but i was super sleepy that i kinda dozed in and out when i was watching one more disc. it's really nice!! go watch it! :) good to see that it’s a happy ending! anyway, my saturday was thus spent like that, plus some surfing and slacking around. =P uploaded 2 pics online as a start on a new album first before i'll do the rest when i go to isabel’s place some time this week maybe (my internet system can’t take it!). also created a new blogpage for my snapshots too. ;))

Friday 1 April 2005: -April’s Fool- we were expecting some stuff to happen but nothing came. heh aqs told isabel n i that the gals better watch out, ‘cos he has 10 tricks up his sleeve! aiyah i guess that was just to scare us. he didn’t do anything in the end. haha. so the gals tried to come up with something, and isabel and vanessa really went to the western food stall to buy some salt, which the auntie gave them free. whoa isabel quickly added some salt into wei loong’s bottle (the first victim). the guys sat in the row of bench in the canteen just in front of us, so elma took his bottle nearby without them knowing anything! put the bottle back to where it was found (safely) and siew ming rachel and some others went to the bench nearby where some of the guys’ bags were placed. they added into terry’s and ivan’s! wahahah. but ivan was alert enough to sense that the gals were up to something, so he tasted some of the water, refilled his bottle, and purposely took it out and drank it right in front of us. fine la fine.. haha.



stayed back after school for piano coaching at 3.50pm today. isabel terry aqs n i went to one classroom to play cards, heh but too bad i don’t know how to play bridge! so i played stress with aqs and this self-acclaimed “king of gamblers” ended up stressed out by me!! hahas. =P played a few rounds before i went to the piano room. today’s session was quite alright. there's one concert coming up soon and when natalie brought this up to mr ku he suggested me and her participating in it. hmms.

Tuesday 29 Mar 2005: practised the piano with natalie at the piano room at 11am today. heh isabel stayed in the room with me so she helped to flip the pages at times! thanks! :) as usual, we gals went to an unused classroom for the rest of our break. the more interesting part of today was during econs tutorial. wahaha joel's really trying to be funny nowadays! esp. when it comes to econs tutorial lessons!! haha okies, hope that there’ll be more of these siao stuff within our class! =P

Wednesday 30 Mar 2005: played netball during pe today. ahaha it was super hilarious then! i really laughed a great deal! well there’s only 4 gals plus the pe teacher in the basketball court, along with the rest of the guys!! ran 2 (haha yea…instead of 3) rounds around the track to warm up first before that. all we could see during the game was wei loong running all over the place to defend and catch the ball and stuff. when zhuang yi was around with our class it was him and chenting who were the “powerful” pair.. now it’s wei jie and chenting! with these two guys on the opponent side it was a score of 5:1. argh. haha though we gals kinda tried to play as much it was mostly the guys holding the ball! so there’s once when isabel siew ming vanessa and i just stood right at the centre of the court in one row seeing all the guys fighting over one ball near the goal. heh the pe teacher was saying that we were like posing! wahahah. =P anyway we really had loads of fun yeps. :)



didn’t have gp today after chem. tutorial since most of the guys weren’t around in class. they had to go for the vi-comp quiz. so most of them were wearing the vj uniform today. gonna have make-up class this friday. oh and so many of us in the lecture hall were lost during physics lect! haha.


anyhow isabel came to my house after sch today to copy some lect and tutorial notes that she missed out somehow. headed to get my contacts on and out at around 5pm. i was kinda nervous at the beginning that i actually saw my fingers shaking a lil’!! after a few minutes i managed to put them on. then it took some time to try getting them out after that. aww i felt that sense of achievement then too!! haha i was really pleased with myself at that time! i decided to try practising putting them in and taking them out…and when i tried i succeeded at the first attempt this time round!! ;)) it went pretty well too for the left eye as well! and somehow i was also able to take the contacts out rather quickly! heh so much so that the optician said that i was scary at the rate i improved…which was so much all of a sudden!! :))) ooh and thankew isabel for accompanying me there yar! take care everyone!!

Monday 28 Mar 2005: first day of term 2 week 2. the start of lessons. haha was a lil’ high with isabel during morning assembly today. heh dunno why. well anyway we have 4 new classmates in s64. jonathan, wei jie, brianna (from 4a1!) and sin hong. The two guys weren’t in any jc for the first 3 months! sin hong’s appealing for sajc. as for brianna, she came from sa. she entered vj because of her parents. whoa didn't expect her to be here in vj or even in my class! hahah. i'm already quite used to be the only pl-lite in my class yea. anyhow hope our class will rawk even more!! ;)) just some figures here: 3 guys left our class (richie – new zealand; ivan lee – tp; zhuang yi – njc) while 2 gals went off (yumin – tjc; jeslyn – rjc). up till now none of us knows clarence’s whereabouts. ms chow had earlier told us that he had fever for a few weeks, then about a month ago she said he had broken a leg. sandy went to another class whereas carol replaced her. so from the ratio 14:11 it’s now 11:9 after minus-ing. counting in the 2 new guys and brianna it’ll become 13:10. anyhow had ct at the start of the day before physics lect. heh brianna told me after that that the people here are so much more attentive as compared to those in sa. gp was okay today. did “continuous” titration during chem. pract. and our class stayed back after sch to finish up the report. ahaha xi ying said that we looked like a mugger class like that!! as for physics pract. we did this oscillation experiment with the plasticine added to act as the pendulum and stuff. well nothing really exciting today. felt like the usual. but it’s really like coming back to sch after a short break ‘cos we didn’t go to sch last thursday and it was good friday the next day. yeps. cheers to s64!! :))

Sunday 27 Mar 2005: went to check my eyesight with my mum in the afternoon. gosh my right eye weakened by a lot!! arghh. decided to try out contacts and i took some time (about an hr?) to finally put on both lens. aww my i could really feel the sense of achievement after that!! ;)) haha. well but i couldn’t manage to take them out by my own! gahh i just didn’t dare to “pinch” the lens out of my eyes! the optician was really patient with me (thanks!) and kept saying that i shouldn’t be so gentle but be more daring. heh. anyway i gotta go back for another attempt at it this week before she’ll hand them over to me! oh and it was uber clear after wearing them (yar…duh) …that after putting on the left side first it was a lil’ blur on my right eye. and i didn’t feel like i was wearing the lens!! :)))

Saturday 26 Mar 2005: brought isabel to tsc for ycf training today! :) learnt new steps as well. and there’s more of c5 today too! rachel cedric ronald. well isabel’s not going to sign up for ycf since the trainings would be mostly held on sundays and she’s got church then. also had some dialogue session and we found that there’re quite a number of vj peeps in ssa!! :)) people like roufang, guan yi (s33) and wen yi (j2). well didn’t really know what to say so i just talked about having 2 other ssa members in my class, with one unable to be “activated”. hahas. anyway i really still feel that chingay trainings are much fun-ner as compared to that of ycf!! heh. alright..hopefully the situation gets more interesting…in some sense.. yup. ;)

Friday 25 Mar 2005: came home at 10+ yesterday night. (2403) haha met isabel at bedok interchange and from there we took bus 17 to the ind. park to get our uniforms. heh we managed to drop at the correct place and find the unit! wahahah ivan was messaging me and asked “so you are going down to the shop?” then i replied “no no…we’re going UP to the shop!” ‘cos it's on the 3rd storey yea? hahas. oh and the whole ind. park looked very run down! couldn’t find the lift so we decided to climb up the stairs, and just after a few steps up i thought isabel said something, and when i asked her what she was saying she thought that the sound came from me! -???- freaky!! haha she said fortunately it was daytime. well i bought another set there and she got her set too.



from there we got back to the interchange and i bought you zhou kan as there’s some of the korean stars there. ;) cover page: kwon sang woo. not that i'm crazy about him or something, just bought it for fun yups. took the train down to ps to lunch there. saw quite a number of vj peeps there. oh and i finally got my shorts just before we left for the train station! heh isabel told me that she was thinking that i didn’t get my shorts again, and i just managed to!



anyhow we headed down to suntec, walked around and checked out this specs shop. ooh i saw this pair which isabel thought suited me! yea…after trying out a few pairs. it's this metallic dark pink framed one. just tried out for fun and this salesman almost pissed me off. first it was the way he talked to us, then when i tried on a pair he said something like “so..confirm you want this already?”. and when i just asked about contacts and stuff he said that he could refer me to another guy at that corner. i asked him what would that guy do there and he answered, “me? i'll just continue to stand at the entrance to welcome in the customers” -!!!- wadeva. met ivan and his friend at kfc where they had their dinner. heh the whole of s64 left o2 (2303) in the early afternoon before sea regatta. none of the gals in our class went to sch yesterday.

bought my hp at ps today (2505)! at last!! -yayers- haha. aww i lurve it! ;)) wahaha my parents were sooo jealous! =P
