was supposed to join yn mona and sq at their spring-cleaning cum revamp of the piano room at 830am but i told them i'd be late. "maybe around 9". and in the end when i woke up and knew i was gonna be quite late already i decided to continue to sleep on and finally, i was on my way *drum roll...* two-plus hours after the stated time of yours truly =D

and while i was just about a bus stop away from school yn asked me to head to pp to get some paint brushes as we'd be painting our walls! weee.. so i stayed on the bus as it looped, called up isa to meet her as she knows where to get 'em while at the same time figuring that the bus driver must be thinking i was some student who didn't know how to alight after two supposedly-missed stops. anyway, thanks isa for ur company, help and the brush!! =] bought two more brushes and we conveniently purchased a pair of slippers each too! hee =P and we caught sight of quan yifeng [thanks to her significantly significant-coloured hair], her hubby and daughter at Giant. hmm she looked kinda different. nvm

so by the time i arrived at school almost everything from the room was shifted out, including the two pianos. the floor was cleaned, the walls were scrubbed.. the whole place was virtually spotless! [oh except for that tiny lil dirt that u overlooked, sq, yeah, mr perfectionist?] we also ordered food back and while the three started their painting i went to the pt to sit in for coaching. anyhow, as always, the usual lameness would be dere! =)

at first they wanted me to draw waves on the wall [whoa imagine leaving my traces there for the next ten years! =D ], so i asked yn, "so u want transverse or longitudinal ones?" =P oh and they were saying about having real changes in our total revamp [of course, limited by the constraints of the oh-so-large room] and i started talking about bold changes, before going into the italicised ones ;)

okays. mm it's quite nice to see the "new" piano room done up by our batch. cheers everyone! =) heh christine, seeing that the wall was partially coloured blue [with the other part left in its original creamy white before we'd attempt painting a "mural-like" music score on it as suggested by sq, inspired by that in vs] and commented that it looked "cedarish". haha

anyways, i headed down to j8 for dinner. and as i was waiting at the eunos bus-stop that kinda incident happened again. this time the guy sent his "envoy" down instead, and she told me in mandarin that "he's the guy in the green tee". but i didn't see who that was except to sweep across their general direction. haha i actually asked her "are u all playing 'truth or dare'?" well before she could continue anymore of her persuasion their bus came. *phew*

i was just saying about it's more likely that ppl spot me [cos i was wearing our pe tee] rather than i spot familiar faces, and upon having said that, i spotted ____! omg. never expected to see ____ there la! haha. i was surprised. and the greatest irony was that i caught sight right after i finished saying that very statement. lol. and some time later i saw another acquaintance. ahaha

met yanning at kovan mrt at around 930 in the morning yesterday. and from dere we began our walk - attempted - to shangqian's place. after approx 100 metres later we found ourselves nowhere the stated area. and so, we rang him up and the next thing was that we were in his mum's car. okay we shall not further discuss the much argued topic yesterday, which would be why someone's directions weren't very clear enough such that many of us would have been absolute clueless about that landmark, although he thought they were uh, "idiot-proof". #*&(%$@`^ anyway, before we could bum around at his house we were off again - to buy the necessary stuff for the event of the day -- p.e. farewell bbq for the year twos :)

after the foodstuff were transported back to his place via his mum's car, sq yn mona and i were left to walk back to his house by foot. but before that, we had to walk to yn's friend's house to get the dvd for chicken little. and so that was another err, few hundred metres? then there was also the "compulsory" walk from dere to sq's. again. so when we finally reached our destination we were just starting to relax and play the piano. yay! but it was soon nearing noon, and we had to be at heartland mall to meet our seniors then! haha. we were like all dreading to move off and in the end sq's mum kindly fetched us dere. thanks again! ;)

all of us lunched at yoshi's and then we walked back to his house. again *for the third time* and some hundreds of metres later and a few years later we finally got dere. then yn took out the "orange chiffon cake" that she mona and junqi attempted to make which, apparently, turned out to be more like some hard butter cake. but in any case, thumbs up for their effort and thought! =) cos they wanted to bake a cake for ee hiang who's b'day is approaching in a few days' time. their second attempt two days after was a choc/cocoa butter cake. now it looked more like what it was supposed to be. and as for the final marble cake which we all ate yesterday night after the bbq [preceded by a b'day song too], it was rather enjoyed by most of us, but i guess more joy was derived from the playful spraying of the whipped cream. lol =D

so we were watching our concert vcd in the afternoon. it was kinda comfy in the air-conditioned living room too =] then some of the year twos started mahjong-ing while the few of us watched willy wonka's charlie and the choc factory. quite nice. and lame also. heh i thought mike [the other lil boy in the show] was quite cute and didn't want him to get one of wonka's "desserts" [hey pun! (: ] to those incorrigible children. heyy he isn't that horrible yea? haha. oh and talking about desserts and chocs, the show made christabel and me sorta hungry for some chocs too. lol. anyways, the food at the bbq was fine. not much overcooked [nor undercooked either] stuff. except for the corns. ahaha. and junqi.. stop eating all those burnt food! ;)

after everything the year ones had intended to play zong ji mi ma, with the forfeit being "truth or dare". and some of the gals kept wanting to play the latter especially. so i reckon there should be some hidden agenda behind it. i guess. and i think it'd [almost] always be the same question posed for "truth". yes i think u people out dere know what i'm talking about here.

anyhow, taking shots were fun too! and i believe these pics prolly speak more words that what i've said so far (=

headed to the bugis area after p.e. coaching on friday. then i met up with isa and wy for dinner. haha it seemed like we haven't seen one another for a loonnnggg time! and lol it was kinda weird too, cos both of 'em were quite dressed up [they had planned to be as such for that day when they went out] while i was just wearing a tee and my fbt shorts since i came from sch. anyway, heard a bit about their yep experience and also caught up with 'em. heh building two houses in five days! entailing minimal technology! wow. and u see some scratches on their hands after carrying bricks which weigh 7 kilos each. i guess it's a really meaningful experience, to be able to build houses or dig wells etc in a bid to improve the lives of many [=
