*..::Filtration & Evaporation::..*
hmm...felt especially comfortable today. must be due to the weather, cos' the temperature range is 24-29 degree celsius.
was rushing through the 13 qns of lit which ms kaur assigned to us. she didn't come today. by the way, she's our relief teacher for mrs suzanne tan. chemistry practical lesson was fun today. mrs chew was cooking up a story that our sibling had playfully mixed sand with the salt our mother had to use for cooking, and we had to separate them by adding water and filtering the mixture. then we would need to evaporate the water to get pure salt by heating the evaporating dish over a bunsen flame.
and when i got home and was observing the packet of salt, i felt that it really looked like drugs...u see...white and powderish?? hahaz... =)
had physics lesson for the last period of the day. it was an extra period, as mr thomson felt that he doesn't have enough periods with us. he was saying that the significant figures in measurement were really significant and telling us what to take note when drawing graphs. then elizabeth had to leave halfway through the lesson and was rushing out of the classroom and corridor, when after a few seconds we heard the sound of books dropping onto the floor. the whole class heard it and everyone was laughing.
Wednesday 8/1:
*..::The First PC Lesson with the Sec 1s::..*
had bio practical lesson today. was rushing through the worksheet and didn't complete 3 qns! and the whole class was late for chapel. we only arrived just 5 mins before the session ended! then got back to class and rushed to 1A2 classroom. i'm taking register nos. 22-28 [6 peeps]. today's the introductory lesson where there would be icebreakers for the session. i would be taking them for the whole of term 1, and next week would be lesson 1. most of them were from the primary school and were rather quiet. they kept laughing when we played the game huh-why...wellz, just hope that they had fun! =)
