Tuesday 22 Mar 2005: woo hoo!! got into vj! :))) called up isabel in the morning to chat and stuff and later heard from siti that she got into mj (her 1st choice). congrats to those who got into the schools of their choice yar!! ho ying’s going back to vj to appeal as she got posted to aj. hope that she can get in! just heard from ivan that zhuang yi’s posted to nj. anyways, today’s a day off for us j1s and we’re going to have a class outing later! meeting the rest at somerset to catch the movie Robots. take care everyone! =]

Monday 21 Mar 2005: got back from sch earlier than the usual mondays today. heh ‘cos we don’t take chi and there’s no more 3rd period pe for most of us!! also walked home with sherilyn just now too. anyway sch’s as per normal today. started on forces for physics lect and isabel was really listening to the lesson then! and i could catch what the lecturer was talking about too! i guess we should sit in front more from now on yeps. ;) did 2 titrations today for chem. pract. was quite okay. oh and i learnt from ms ng that vj’s cut-off is partial 5 this year. 6 for arts. tomorrow’s the posting. and the principal announced during assembly this morning that there’d be no sch for us tmr! yayers~ then the j1s would go back to sch on wed for registration and 1st day of orientation2 starts. this year’s o2 lasts for 2 days instead of 3 ‘cos of good friday. haha i hear many people saying that they’re going to pon o2 after registering. well anyway all this means that we’d only have 1 day of sch this week!! :) heh and zhuang yi and zhong min didn’t come to sch today. you see, the guys in our class hardly skip sch or any lessons! they’re always earlier than us for lectures and tutorials, but are often behind during outings. hahas. all the gals, except for xi ying yumin and me, pon the 3 periods of physics pract and tutorial today. so i was saying that it really felt like having some attachment to a boys sch during the lesson then!! X) oh and i think our batch really has some “drama” every time! for psle it was the listening paper that had a problem so we had to retake or something. then it was the bio paper 2 for the Os. soon after many people had problem with the singpass and next jae application had an extended deadline. heh. anyhow i think our batch still rawks!! ;)))

Sunday 20 Mar 2005: headed down to harbourfront at 9.15am and i waited at the bus-stop for ivan who needed to go to the washroom. the rest left for syc first. got onto bus 30 and after about 4 stops ivan told me to press the button to alight. haha we found that we hadn’t reached the place yet and decided to walk there. heh in the end we walked about 3 bus-stops and i was saying i needed no warm-ups for later! anyways, got there, finally, and soon we started our training for ycf. blks c and d were at the 2nd floor and today we learnt 3 more new steps. after the session dunno-how-many of us headed to harbourfront foodcourt for lunch and had to split to fit into 2 separate tables. ahaha oh man i was terribly outnumbered – i was the only gal at my table! neh mind. heh got suan-ed a lot today too. hahas. anyhow, we crapped and stuff and after everything the rest alighted at outram while i headed home. ;))

Friday 18 Mar 2005: again went to sch at 10am for piano “camp”. hah today felt even less of a camp as compared to yesterday!! didn’t do much and soon after we headed to parkway (again) for lunch. well but this time we lunched at sakae sushi. :) mm the steam egg was tastilious! -yummy!!- took bus 76 back to school and we sat as the bus drove round vs. the building’s really cool! haha. started on our souvenir-making for cca walkabout for o2 and before long we kinda finished by 3pm. left to meet the rest of the class at escape. they were finishing so i waited at mac’s for them. there were 10 of them and we just talked among ourselves there. oooh isabel told me that chenting kept talking to jeslyn during the outing. hmms. then she added well too bad jes’ already taken. and oh my…the girls and zhongyu kept teasing ivan and i in the train! vanessa even asked isabel to go over to their side of the train so that she wouldn’t be in between the two of us!! then zhongyu said must have class spirit..why don’t sit next to each other?? omg. what’s their problem? heh isabel told me earlier on that she knew that they would do this to us soon ‘cos they saw that i kept ringing ivan to ask about their whereabouts that day. indeed, these nonsense came real soon!! well it was actually quite simple: i couldn’t get isabel on her phone so i just phoned him. yeps. anyway chenting ivan isabel and i changed train to get to expo to check out the adidas sale. heard that wei loong tricia and some of them went there earlier on too. chenting thought about checking out the shoes there. hmm there wasn’t much for me and none of us bought any stuff. walked around the malay food hall and isabel and i tried the otah. haha. and chenting spent his only 2 bucks left on the octopus balls. walked out to the nearby food court for dinner and i tell you it was uber hard to eat when ivan’s around!! he would usually have something lame to say in response to your previous statement that once i almost had difficulty getting my noodles (the slippery kind too haha) down! wahaha so isabel and i kinda had some problem there because of him yea. crapped a lil’ and i really don’t know what to say about my situation there: chenting wasn’t quick enough to catch the joke or something, while ivan was fast to understand it and would be even faster to come out with one of his lame stuff! gosh.. ahaha and isabel and i agree that we could relate the joke regarding the tortoise lagging on its laugh to chenting!! =P oh and ct (chenting or ct rep. whateva) said that i seemed like those kind of enthu christians who ask people to attend church! well like i said before, it’s really cool to find that vj has ssa members…and 2 others in my class!!!!! ;))) i guess this is all for a reason yar. so it’s natural that i try to get them to go for meetings together and stuff! heh really glad that i managed to get ivan to join ycf!! :)) anyhow after dinner we took the train back and during the ride chenting told me that he’s 1.81m!! then he asked me to guess his weight and i agga-ed 62kg. oh my it was jackpot!! ;) wahaha. alrightz, shall blog off here!

Thursday 17 Mar 2005: went to school at 10am this morning for my piano ensemble “day-camp”. heh we started by planning for orientation 2 (cca walkabout) and music fest in 2 groups. headed to parkway for lunch and some went on to buy the materials that we would need. got back to sch and everyone started slacking and stuff. haha. then we played this “treasure hunt” thingy and we had to locate the nine different areas as shown on the paper and find the clue from these places. all the clues, when pieced together, would lead to a picture which we in turn have to locate. haha we even sought help from jun jie and lance! =P well though they couldn’t really help much they still tried. thanks guys!! ;) heh we really walked around the sch dunno-how-many times!! and we were saying imagine if the sch was much much bigger! ahaha. and some of my group mates tried to hide the clues somewhere else when they saw those of the other group! well in the end they still managed to find them! i guess all of us had fun yeps. :) settled down before we played one more game. oh my we had to piece up 4 pages of music scores which were all cut up! haha after a while i found that the person who cut them must have kinda put all the pieces together and cut them at a go! well this helped in a way! managed to piece up 2 full pages in the end! whoa there was really a sense of achievement upon doing so yar! ;)) hope everyone enjoyed themselves today!

Wednesday 16 Mar 2005: went to cut my hair yesterday. also rebonded my fringe too! haha. as for today, i followed my mom to her office before walking about century square with my parents. they soon left and isabel came at 4. heh she said she almost couldn’t recognise me with my new haircut! well it must be due to the fact that i don’t really let down my hair in sch yea. haha and she added that i looked sexy in it!! lol. anyways, i still couldn’t get my shorts! arghh. ahaha but i managed to get 2 tops and 2 tees today. :)))

Monday 14 Mar 2005: slacked around at home today. chatted with jun hui on the phone for quite some time too. heh. and today seems like a day of yakking on the phone! called up clarissa in the evening and we found that we had sooo much to tell each other! oh man we’ve really not been in touch for some time! =/ and she told me that both alethea and i called up on the wrong time ‘cos she was having steamboat! aha. of all days yar. also talked on the phone with isabel for a while and she told me about richie’s “confession” to her!! =P oh my i was really tickled when she told me how she responded to him that my face turned red! then my mom came and saw my face and she thought that i was sunburnt because of yesterday’s outing! lol. well, jun hui also called later and i decided that i'm not going for the group outing tmr afternoon since i had just gone to sentosa yesterday. anyways, here’s what happened yesterday (Sunday 13 Mar 2005)… took the train down to harbourfront at 9.15am to meet the others but the guys only came at 945. haha. anyways, we waited a while more for hui zi to arrive and we finally got onto the bus to sentosa. took another bus to fort siloso and we went to catch some performances at the family fun-nival. all of us skipped ycf training to come and support the 12 performers from chingay!! ;)) after that everyone started playing ball games and stuff. didn’t interact much with the peeps from the other groups like the windies. heh. well we all combined and played captain’s ball. whoa fortunately i wore my shoes ‘cos some pple were complaining about the sand being too hot for their feet. but i changed into my slippers later so that i could step a lil’ into the water to cool off. haha. so i “compromised” and stepped in and talked to the c5 peeps. gosh then i was caught offguard and cedric pushed me into the water from the back!!! ahhh. well i was only wet up till the waist. tried to get him into the water but duh, i couldn’t. instead i ended up leaving a scratch mark somewhere around his wrist. oops! didn’t know until kenneth later told me about it. :/ heh i also asked some others to help me on this but he just wouldn’t get into the water!! arghh. haha anyway the guys were unwilling to come out of the water until i left, and i purposely went to take ronald’s tee and hanged it up nearby! then later hui zi and i tried to trick them by behaving as though we were really walking away but they still didn’t fall for that!! lol. heh was wondering why they were so shy and cedric told me that “they don’t want to embarrass themselves in front of pretty girl”. haha. chatted with those 3 peeps in the water for some time and after that we went to the jetty for more talk. ahaha. some of us agree that we talk and interact much more after chingay!! anyhow, we later played volleyball and it was quite fun!! :)) heh i played until my hands were a lil’ red but it’s okay. bought kiwi strawberry snapple and when i returned cedric hit the ball off-direction and said that it was because he “kan dao mei nu” that’s why. hahas. anyhow, was still quite thirsty after that and i bought a bottle of mineral water soon after. lol i was telling hui zi that the stall keeper must be thinking i'm a “shui tong”!! well all four of us rested at the drinks shop and hui zi came to join us. heh and i really finished all the water before long! didn't feel hungry at all even though all of us didn’t have lunch. (the 3 didn’t even have breakfast manz!) well after that they went to take a shower and the others waited for very long ‘cos the girls had to wait like 45 mins for their turn to bathe since it was very crowded then. took the bus back to harbourfront at 6+ and after taking some shots with c5 i left for dinner at home… ;)))

Saturday 12 Mar 2005: met isabel at orchard mrt at 12.45pm and we walked to far east to shop. she didn’t manage to buy her earrings while i couldn’t get my shorts. :/ but at least i bought my trucker cap when we went to heeren later!! :))) heh just as we were about to walk off far east this lady came to us and asked if we wanted to take part in this clean and clear contest whereby pairs of gals who are friends would undergo a mini makeover and take a photo. the winners and finalists would get attractive prices. and the winners would have their photo posted on the magazine. haha we declined and proceeded with our shopping. heh. bought our lunch from breadtalk and walked as we munched. hahas. parted at ard 5 as she needed to send her cousin off to australia at the airport…

Friday 11 Mar 2005: it’s the march hols!! whee!! :))) 6 peeps from my class went to PS after school to catch boogeyman. ahaha. vanessa still doesn’t know that it’s a horror movie and believes everyone that it’s a comedy! =P heh the whole class was into it ‘cause she was horrified and scared after watching hide and seek the other day! but i didn’t go out with them today. heh. anyways, ms ng didn’t make elma tricia and i to do the chem. test we missed on wed. so instead we went thru’ the answers for it with the rest of the class. ooh and i took the same bus home with wei loong. didn’t know that he also takes the same bus as me!! haha now then i realised…after one term! so far it’s jeslyn whom i'll sometimes go home with, and yesterday on the bus i saw terry. hmms. so this makes 4 of us in the class that share the same bus. ;) ahaha xiying isabel yumin and i were all kinda high during lunch today! first yumin saw wei loong drinking soya milk and she starting saying about some related “stuff” to it and what her teacher told her class last time! then xiying continued with her bio knowledge about it!! lol. really laughed a lot till our stomach ached a lil’!! X) oh and after sch the class was discussing about our upcoming class outing. hah the gals were outside the classroom while all the guys were inside!! it was supa funny manz. ‘cos we were talking thru’ the windows and it was really like communicating in a prison! then chenting and zhongyu took out their handphones!! lol. so all of us moved over to the door and we continued our discussing at the door area! why must we be talking either at the door or the windows?? haha. we really felt as though there was this kind of invisible wall between us! well, not sure if i can make it for the class outing if it’s put on friday. i'd be having a piano ensemble day-camp on thu and fri. shall see how about it at a later date. ;))

Thursday 10 Mar 2005: read the headlines in the morning and it said that the cca points (PEARLS) system has been removed! yayers!! :))) so from now on we no longer hafta worry about earning points and stuff. mmm the principal recommended that we join different ccas for the experience. sounds cool. ;)

Wednesday 9 Mar 2005: didn’t go to sch today. arghh i ate the chinese food at the canteen yesterday and after one bite of this veg (think it’s dou miao) i felt like puking. heh and when i went home, slept and woke up during dinner time i really did!! :/ gahh. but well i felt much much better after that, even though i still had diarrhoea soon after. decided to take one day off to rest after this “mild food poisoning”. kinda cleared much unwanted documents on the com and stuff, but still couldn’t get rid of this threat: trojan. yikes. also had to delete my msn messenger ‘cos i think it could be the cause of it. heh the last time i downloaded it was like in sec 3 and i soon had to delete it off my com due to a suspected virus too! ahh. so sad. now i'm unable to have mass conversations with my class peeps and other friends. gosh. oh wells, dunno if i'll be using any messenger anymore in the future! anyhow, called isabel in the late afternoon for her to update me on what happened in sch today. was a short day so nothing much happened. the j1s basically had an MOH talk at the start of the day and later they had pe. whoa heard that ivan could do 10 pull-ups!! omg. really strong! heh just see those arm muscles of his and u’ll know! oh and she told me that my name was called as part of attendance for the classes during physics lect today but i wasn’t there. oh wells. heh. ooh and she also told me that the lecturer called out someone’s name wrongly so it was “li sheng”! hahas. and heard that his face turned really red! ahaha ‘cos his name was lim jing chuan! exactly the same chinese name as the gal in kindred spirit! and we kept saying that we must find a li sheng for him! heh so now we have zhuang yi and him in our class who can really turn red! =P

Monday 7 Mar 2005: Day-off -- didn’t bring any sch-related stuff but just my clothes to sch today. heh the whole sch was quite sure that we’ll have a day-off in celebration of the A level results on fri. 50+% of the cohort scored at least 3 As! wow!! so i just brought a pen. heh yesterday night i kept looking thru’ the timetable for monday. i was thinking about the safety level of not bringing my whole file to sch. went thru’ the timetable and i found that it was actually quite okay even if there was no day-off. the most i'll just get some foolscap paper to jot down my notes and stuff. =P well many of our class gals didn’t come to sch today. when i boarded the bus to sch in the morning it was so empty too! they say that if you come to school in the morning and find that the canteen stalls are closed it means that there’s no sch. true enough yar!! during assembly and all the announcements we could really feel the suspense in the atmosphere! finally the principal came up and we were granted a full day off! yayers!! :))) haha she said that if we would go home to sleep then she’d rather us not to go off, ‘cos she wanted us to go about singapore to “advertise” our sch’s achievement!! she also asked if we wanted some lessons ‘cos she thought it might be a waste to wake up and come to sch so early and then to go off. haha. but the IP students had to have sch today still. anyways, joel zhongyu ivan qingsheng isabel yumin and i took bus 197 down to tj after the mass dances. sat in the canteen for a while and i met jeri, cheryl, michelle, tiffany and a friend from chingay! saw that kimberly also came so jeri soon left to talk to her. heard from tiff that there’s an econs lect at 945-1030 and we nearly wanted to go but didn’t do so in the end. instead we walked around the sch and checked out the library. heard that there’s a café but found out that it was just a small simple corner which was empty. it's at 2 levels but zhongyu kept saying that our library was better. heh he kept saying how much better our school was. like although tj was much bigger, he felt it was warmer in vj and that u’ll keep meeting your friends (heh partly because the sch’s smaller lah). but i agree about the warm feeling part yea. ;)) vj’s better!! anyways, the 5 of us headed to parkway while ivan went home to change first. played pool and aqs showed us a couple of tricks like jump ball and stuff. haha. and i found out that throwing the balls into the holes by hand was also quite fun!! =P heh most of the time isabel and i were like doing some nonsense instead of really playing. lol. after lunching at kfc we took the bus down to suntec. the bus was really packed and at first isabel and i didn’t want to get onto it. well in the end we did and she sat somewhere near the door while i stood. then at the next stop when the door opened i managed to move away from the opening door on time! heh isabel nearly got hurt ‘cos she was sitting down, and thanks to her fast reflex she immediately shifted away when the door opened beside her!! gosh. haha the bus driver said he didn’t see her and fortunately she managed to duck on time. we thought of catching a movie at suntec but decided to walk over to the cinema at marina square instead. got there and we changed our mind to bowl instead since yu min wasn’t allowed to watch a show. heh my score for the first game was 62 (same as isabel!) and later it dropped to become the worst – 41! :/ well at least it improved to a 69 for the last game!! oh my, zhongyu plays quite well manz. he scored 120 for the last game and kept winning! i think he got 2 double-strikes. whoa. well we all had fun and later isabel and i went to suntec as i wanted to buy shorts. ivan came along but soon left to buy his file. heh isabel spotted dimitra from tj but i couldn’t really see him from where i was standing. nvm. he’s ivan’s friend and heard that he’s among the “cool” group in his sch. anyhow i wanted to buy this shorts at op but there wasn’t my size. oh wells. shall continue searching. take care peeps!! ;)

Sunday 6 Mar 2005: met jun hui and friends at harbourfront mac’s before we settled off to tbsc. ivan came later ‘cos he had stomachache and when he came a lil’ wet i thought it was because he perspired a lot due to that but actually it was raining outside. heh. he’s in grp b while i'm in grp c. the c5 peeps came much later and they’re joining grp c too! yays!! it’s good to have friends you know in ycf, ‘cause although it’s a combined group of the ASDs and the uni pple so that we can know more about uni courses and stuff, i think we don’t really mingle a lot. it's much much better in chingay since all of us are in the same age group yea. anyways, ivan and i waited for the rest while they chanted for a while as they were quite worried about their posting. then we headed to lunch at harbourfront foodcourt. didn't really feel like eating any of the food there so ivan and i went to get our food from mac’s. haha. chatted and stuff before we left for home… :)

Saturday 5 Mar 2005: Post-Chingay Celebration -- went out with my parents to town for dinner before i took the train to cck (i thought it was jurong east at first!) and then the lrt to senja. reached there at 6+ and the others were having their refreshments. the post-chingay celebration cum fd graduation started at 7.30pm. basically it was dances items put up by the different groups…c4, phoenixes etc. and the 5 guys from c5 sang!! 2 mandarin songs. hmms. it was quite okay yar. later the trainers also had something for us all. the choreographer posed as gao ling feng, alongside with 2 ladies who danced as he “sang” in the song. haha. oh my dunno where they got their costumes from! =P then before we could kinda recover from all the laughters there’s “S.H.E”! the 3 “gals” were jianxiong (h), thomas (e) and another guy (s). they kinda put on the same hairstyle as the gals and gosh…you should see thomas’ chest!! lol. but it wasn’t that shocking to me ‘cos i had gone thru’ my orientation’s vollywood nite!! ahah. took the taxi home with amanda after desiree dropped us off her taxi. heh our $10 note was just enough for our cab ride! alritez…take care everyone!! ;))

Friday 4 Mar 2005: went to ECP after sch with the piano ensemble peeps for a beach outing. got there and we did the mass dance. haha it was quite awkward ‘cos we (all gals and only 1 guy) did the dance in a circle around this coconut tree! heh so it was like conducting some ritual around it!! =P played captain’s ball after that and we saw that st. pats was having their cross-country then. oh man every time there was a goal scored or something some guys nearby would make some funny noise! heh we really felt like shutting them up! anyway, we then walked to mac’s (isabel and i bought slurpee from 7-11 instead) where we sat down and chatted, before we headed back to sch and home… we had this outing ‘cos there wasn’t a session yesterday, according to sherilyn. heh. had coaching with mr ku yesterday. fortunately i came earlier to the piano room so i could kinda know what to expect later during natalie and my session. saw how it went for samantha and shang qian before our turn came. mm mr ku kept emphasising on using the metronome and he saw that i functioned better without it, while natalie was the opposite. heh. gotta practise more with it ‘cos it’s necessary for duets to coordinate!!

Tuesday 1 Mar 2005: wee it’s day off today!! :) went with my dad to apply for my singpass password just now at around noon. haha i actually applied for it online last wed but i guess i entered the year for the issue date wrongly so it was unsuccessful. so better to apply directly. went to eunos cc and i got my password almost instantly!! :) heh the 2 malay guys before me had some problems and had to try several times before they succeeded. (perhaps because it was lunchtime or the server was busy?) well anyway, just chatted to aqs and yumin online…now gonna do some work! ciao~ ;))

Monday 28 Feb 2005: the BIG DAY. met serene at serangoon mrt station and we took bus 70 down to the holding sch at 1pm. saw our classmates and we chatted and stuff before it was time to go into the emanuel hall. the principal started talking about overall performance and stuff (as usual), and after listening to what she said, like the teachers were all qte disappointed and we didn’t fare very well or we were below expectations, we were all getting really freaked out. oh manz i nearly cried then!! then as some of my friends in front were getting their results and turning around with all sorts of expressions it was sooo scary! omg. some were tearing due to joy while some were kinda sad. when my turn came and i was seating in front of mrs lum signing the list she was telling me not to cry!! oh my i guess my expression was really shaky then! but i sorta didn’t really know how to react when she told me my points, but i was just glad to be able to stay in vjc! :))) after that siti jee theng and i took the bus home, but we realised our bus was going the opposite direction from what we had intended so we landed up at j8. well we walked around…haha we mainly ate lar…while waiting for siti’s dad to fetch us home from there. rained heavily and i was wondering if it was crying for those who didn’t do well or if it was showers of blessing. heh. well pl didn’t fare well this year. abt 78% made it to jc this year as compared to 90% last year. the normal students did better. heh but i was extremely pleased with my combined humanities!! first time i ever got A1! even my best wasn’t an A2 for it ever before! it’s the sciences that pulled me down this time. so unexpected. usually it’s the humanities. gahhh. and i'm still puzzled about my a maths results. alrightz…hope everyone is okay and fine! don't worry too much kiez?? chatted online with many people at nite until 1am. haha have been chatting online for quite a lot nowadays! whoa…let’s see the bills at the end of the month…ahaha…well takkaire peeps! :))

Sunday 27 Feb 2005: took the train down to serangoon and jun hui boarded the train at 9.10am. then we met ivan at outram and we got to jurong east and then senja by 1030. oops. travelling really took a lot of time!! arrived there and found out that it was a ycf meeting but a training!! gahh. and i really wasn’t in the right attire! omg. nevertheless i still could do most of the moves but i couldn’t do the part where we had to stoop and bend backwards ‘cause i was wearing a skirt!! hahah. oh man it was supa hot cuz we were practising at the carpark basement! heh ivan was so wet and it was just so humid! fortunately i'm not one of those who perspire easily and much!! ;) the session ended at 12+ and we three plus debrah minling and a few others headed to town for lunch. ate grilled dory fish with rice and i was super full! then the three of us walked to orchard mrt at 3 to meet the rest of cheerioz 5 plus chloe. ahahah then we walked to taka soon after i actually forgot about ivan who was talking to his friends at the mrt station! *grins. sorries! met cedric and we walked to lido where ronald elvin and jackson later came to meet us. chloe jh and i went to buy tickets for the 9 of us and we found that so many movies either had no suitable seats for us or had inconvenient time slots. so we settled for assault on precinct 13. heh the lady at the counter kept checking if we were above 16! aww man it just was a mistake to choose the show!! the moment we stepped in till the end of the movie 99% of the sentences contained the f-word! little wonder it was nc-16! must be the language content!! the plot’s shallow, the language’s off, the screen directions were unnew and uncreative, the actors/actresses unknown and the movie’s low budget. i was bored stiff and nearly slept despite all the loud bombings and firing. ahaha. verdict: highly UNrecommended!! lol. should have watched other movies or not watched it at all. i was saying i think i'd rather attend a lecture! haha. some of us had dinner after that at the food court at cineleisure but i didn’t feel hungry due to my very filling lunch. then we proceeded to kpool upstairs and it was my first time at it!! zhenbin guided and taught me and chloe jh and i tried a game. hahah there’s this one time when i was supposed to shoot the striped ball. you see, there’re two stripes in one row and another 2 solids in a row at the side. guess what…instead of hitting the stripes or the solids (which zhenbin thought i would), the white ball rolled steadily through the narrow path between the two rows of balls…into the hole!! lol. this resulted in laughters from my friends yar. some of them were qte pro at this game! whoa. anyways, really had fun playing pool today! well, didn’t really interact much with the group…was mainly talking to jh zb and chloe most of the time. hope the others didn’t find me anti-social! just didn’t really know how to start talking to some of them, if u get what i mean. reached home at 11+ and it’s the second consecutive time I’ve been coming home late! oops. haha. oh and jh wanted me to msg him when i got home! lol. okies, gdnite world!! ;)))

Saturday 26 Feb 2005: met isabel at 4 outside somerset mrt. haha she was asked to join a modelling agency while she was waiting for me! but she didn’t give her number since if she’d join, her “knowledge would be wasted” (that’s what she said). heh. oh and her shirt was the same colour as my top and both of us wore jeans skirts! lol. good thing that our shade of blue was slightly different. but later some of the others said we were wearing couple clothes! arghh. anyhow, we walked around heeren and saw jonathan (my ogl) twice! heh but we didn’t acknowledge each other. oops. well we met the rest of our class at cineleisure after their movie. didn't go to watch it with them ‘cause howl’s moving castle wasn’t really my cup of tea. but later i found out that they watched hide and seek!! hahah. wadeva. if i watched it with them i wouldn’t be able to watch a movie with the cheerioz peeps at tmr’s outing. after siew ming and jeslyn left for their own sec 4 class outing the only gals left were me isabel and vanessa. haha then the guys started to crowd around us to a corner to try “overwhelming” us, and i began asking how high we were from the ground level. lol. aiyah the ratio a bit unbalanced lar u see. nvm. anyways, we walked around and the 3 of us decided to go into esprit just to take a look and the guys had to wait for us!! hahah. not that we’re those kinda shopaholics lar, but we just wanted to see around and stuff. yea. then i saw and heard ivan lee laughing just as he went out of the shop to wait for us! oh manz. dunno what they’re thinking la. after that we walked to taka and the purpose from the guys: to jian3 fei2. -???- and soon after we reached there they started to decide on where to eat and we settled for yoshinoya at cineleisure…yes, back there again! heh we were thinking what other stuff they could do at town besides movies, eating and walking about! hahahs. later yumin rachel and tricia joined us, but it was still not enough to balance the ratio. ahaha. well we decided to eat at libs but after going up we found that it was closed so we dined at the jap restaurant instead. oh my the two ate much more than the rest and in the end we had to split the cost! nvm. after that we joined the guys at kbox. hahah it was supa hilarious the way chenting told us to “go to room 60”!!! it’s like…ya noe…get it? lol. it really made us rofl. sang many songs and the guys liked singing jay chou’s songs. thought most guys would like s.h.e but apparently they didn’t! strange. ok nvm. then we gals felt that the girl in jasmine orange mv (jay chou’s) was pretty but they didn’t find her to be so. hmms. haha and ivan whistled at the ang mo lady who kept posing and touching herself everywhere in the english mvs (those kinda old songs)!! omg. so THAT’s their taste i see!! hahax. heh i forgot to bring my specs so i had to sit in front to sing. and when yumin kept asking me to sit with them at the other end i couldn’t, and the next time i saw when i turned around was ivan lee putting out his specs to me!! lol. that’s why i say, when i step out of my house feeling that something is missing, there’s bound to be something that i have forgotten to bring somehow. it happens so many times already. heh. anyhow, the “best” thing was when we found out that the bill was 21 bucks each while we actually thought it to be 15! aww manz. it was so much more expensive than the other time when i went with my girlfriends and we spent more hours there la.. anyway, got home at nearly 11 and i was kinda surprised when wei loong offered to walk me home from the mrt station. didn’t want him to do so since he’d hafta walk back and take the train again home. heh…but he said he would feel uneasy coz it’s already quite late then. well thks loads! really appreciate it!! ;))

Monday 21 Feb 2005: decided to go to school later with isabel at 10am. heh fortunately i made the decision cuz i couldn’t get to sleep the nite before until 1.30am. i was studying for the maths test and i closed my eyes for a while since it was quite noisy around and i actually slept for two hours! omg. and i just felt like going to sch later. my dad fetched me to sch at 950 and i waited for a while for isabel to reach the bus-stop. haha the jc2 gal in front of us was stopped by the security guard at the entrance and we were going like “oh no…we’re finished”, so we walked towards him waiting to be stopped by him and being made to write down our names. haha but as we walked past him he didn’t bother about us!! lol. it was so scary manz! oh and because we didn’t inform chenting about our late coming so he said he told dawn chow in the morning that we were absent! omg. but he later changed it to “the gals were uncomfortable during assembly so they went to the ladies and were thus not around for assembly”. ahahah. what a close shave! sch was as usual today and during physics pract we had the pendulum experiment. so for most of the time we were all like seeing the bob swinging to and fro… haha. then after repeating it 6 times at different lengths i read the paper again and omg, i found that we had to repeat each one again to get the average! heh repeated for some readings but for the rest i just played around with the numbers. at the end of the day we had the maths test. it wasn’t as difficult as we had thought it to be, but really hope that it’ll be okay! after that the whole class took the bus down to the airport for jts at swensens. the session was kinda boring and there was very little interaction, for our table at least. it was more fun at the one at ECP the other time. didn’t even talk much to my angel and mortal! when my angel was talking to me i just went “yea..yar…” and stuff. oh manz. sorries! and i was having the post-chingay blues…plus monday blues!! heh rachel kept asking me if i was okay! oh my…it was really like withdrawal symptoms!! i'll miss the trainings and friends! fortunately there’s ycf coming up! yayers!! :)))

Sunday 20 Feb 2005: well, here’s an account of yesterday’s Chingay 2005 experience…Saturday 19 Feb 2005 -- my parents drove me to tbsc at 2+ and i went to tie my own hair with amanda, instead of the “hairstylists” there. ahaha. heh she also helped me with the foundation. thanks! anyways, had prayers and stuff before we headed down to wheelock for our dinner at 6+. chatted and we also stood along the roadside railing to wave to the people in the passing vehicles as well as do the kallang wave! ;) lol. well when the night drew nearer we were waiting on the part of the road that was blocked off from outsiders. cracked jokes and riddles and stuff. hahas. took group photos too! haha i also went into c6’s photo!! =P when our item came i decided to cover my left ear at least ‘cos the music was way too loud and the amplifiers were sooo near us! fortunately i wasn’t standing right in front of any of those when we performed!! went on to 3 more stops after that and there was a slight problem with the music for the 2nd stop. nevertheless we were still able to dance and were not very affected. :) haha we were all soaked up by the end of it all and my whole top was almost wet! our costumes were made of some synthetic material which didn’t really allow much air to pass thru’ that’s why. but all of us were very much hyped up and were covered with the air of enthusiasm that we didn’t mind it at all!! ;)) it was sooo much fun to also go to some of the audience to shake their hands and say hi too!! it’s really an experience participating in chingay!! :) when we got back to tbsc our c5 group was standing in a circle and saying about how we felt about the whole episode. i'm really gonna miss all the chingay practices! oh wells, at least there’s ycf coming up! :))) okies take care all!!
