a pretty interesting day. yes. it's definitely a day more worth to be in sch as compared to attending thanksgiving service in sec sch [it's founders day for the latter today].


farewell assembly for the j2s in the hall. speaking of which, i bumped into jj in sch yesterday. said hi to him, then he seemed as though he wanted to say sth, but let it pass. then we met again moments later. this time he stopped me and said,

"hey, tmr's farewell assembly leh"


me: haha. ya, so? [didn't think much of what the occasion was then]


jj: so.. is your class giving us seniors anything?

me: uhh.. [since ct hasn't told us anything abt it at that point in time] haha not sure

jj: okay. must get something for us k. i'll pretend that it's a surprise tmr



... anyhow, ct had something in store for our senior class. today's event simply rocked. the videos, the dedications, the "vj spirit" [a concoction of salt water, coffee, milo, wasabi, mustard, condensed milk -- in representation of our sch] which had to go down the esophagus of some students and teachers too, principal speech with interesting slides etc. boy.. chow was uber funny. sporting in a way too. cheers to these [and these type of] teachers! =)


can't really describe it in words though. u hafta see and experience it for yourself. but i hope the j2s really felt the dedication to them. a pity to those who missed it heh. some parts were really hilarious and we were all lol-ing away. =D


coaching session in the afternoon. and a very unusual one. after the session, rather. ku was being quite lame today and he said that the way he treated us mds [mona and me] were kinda different from the previous years'. like for the previous pair he was only this "friendly" to them when the j1s came in. and that one makes faces [that's me] and the other's blur. wahahah. cos he was cracking some cold jokes and she somewhat lagged a lil'. haha. he was also trying to get us to play solo for the year-end concert in dec. but we came up with all sorts of excuses. lame ones too. and at one point he even offered to drop my duet pieces for me to play solo, plus to help get that bug [it has been lingering around in the room for quite some time this afternoon] outta the place. LOL. but seriously, i'll like get stage fright la. so he's gotta give us prozac lol. then he told us he'll make us appear in next year's vivace comp. well, of course we'll "appear" in it yeah? =P


and i was greatly surprised when his msg came in soon after he left. he actually apologised for making me feel pressurised. was shocked. cos i wasn't. and he didn't hafta apologise in any case. anyway, he forgot to take back his buncha keys when he left, and since it'll be more convenient for him to get them back from me he asked for my address, and promised that "i won't harrass you ever". ahhaha.

also had to shift out one of the two upright pianos from the room out to the stage at the concourse. purely student effort haha. and we're thankful for the extra help from evan and yong feng [plus one guy, but didn't know who he is heh]. thanks loads!! :) lol evan even played a short tune of "doe-a-deer" on the piano as some of the gals were pushing it along. now there's some minor tracks left by the wheels. not very visible though. hopefully. hee.


prep for open house tmr -- done. yayers. hope tmr will be a fun day! (=

tuesday was a rather special class outing. relatively high turn-out rate =] after dinner we night-cycled from 8+ to 9+. it felt pretty good to have the wind blowing across u as u cycle in the night breeze. and when we returned the bikes the gals got the shop owner to hand joel his b'day present [a self-help book which the three of us bought the day before], who then got his son to do it instead. lol the guy barely took a few steps forward when his dad shouted to him, "aye, don't walk like zha bor la!" wahahah. uber comical. but it was nice knowing that joel appreciated the concern from all of us and has since taken a more positive outlook on life. cheers! ;))

pooled on wednesday. [okay this is like a brief summary of the past few days lol.] i think it helps a great deal when u pool with only a couple of friends instead of a whole large group. had 3 tycos. haha. and i was surprised whenever these happen. like.. are u sure?? lol. then we watched my bf is type b. mm it's okayy. but not worth watching it in the cinemas. and it ended rather abruptly too. anyways, upon returning this vcd my dad's just rented two more. is it coming back? heh i remember last dec when we kept renting loads of vcds one after another [or rather, a few after a few]. esp korean ones. haha. oh. now this reminds me of STH. gonna catch up on the episodes soon! =))
