went to school at 9.30am for cca today. many of us didn't want to practise the mouse and our wish came true when charmaine told us to prepare the souvenir for next saturday's cca fair. pasted the posters all around the school and the souvenir and stuff. session ended at 11.30am and i went for my piano lesson right after that. heh wasn't late at all!! and yays...my dad rented episodes 13 and 14 of Triumph in the Skies!! :))) watched episode 13 just now and it was so cool today!! the way the planes turned and swerved about high up in the sky!! wows! okies dokes, off to surf the net now~ goodnite all!

*..::Happy New Year!!! =P ::..*
hahah...yeaps, today's the first day of school...basically did admins stuff and spent contact time with our form teacher [still the same as last year's], before proceeding to the hall for ms gan's talk. our class was the first to walk out of the hall after morning assembly and after a distance away we were called back. thought that we made too much noise and would be scolded or something, but actually ms gan wanted to say some more things! then she apologised for making us walk back, but later said "but nevermind, it's good exercise for you all"... gahh she was in a pretty bad mood in the afternoon due to the behaviour of many people in our level and caught sooo many of those who didn't have proper attire. and the stage was almost filled more that the number of people on the floor!! she said that she would talk until 2-3 pm and at first we didn't believe it. but indeed, she ended at nearly 3pm!! and we were starting to get hungry! so i had a pretty late lunch...oh yar, and our school changed it's name so that it meant that the primary school and secondary school would belong as one...also, i'm once again sitting right next to hui wen. the catch is, we're sitting on the second row!! it's so seldom that i sit so near the front! and desflin [she'll come to school on monday] sits right in front of me, ho ying and tian yun on her right!! :)))) and ho ying and i are the higher chinese monitresses!! -yays!- at first i thought that no other person would raise her hand to for this subject area...but shu yan and the two of us raised our hands at the same time quickly!! mrs lum almost decided that shu yan and either ho ying or i would be chosen, but later changed her mind. so it's me and ho ying!! ;)) hahah and siti, serene, ho ying and i were like laughing sooo much during recess today while walking around the school!!! XD ..okays, shall blog soon again~ Cheerios!!! :)))))

today's the last day of 2003. and school's gonna re-open very soon...anyways, went to cut my hair on monday. and woa...the hairdresser did a great job manz...she cut dunno-how-much hair...especially those dry ones...and she hairblew it in such a way that the outcome was like i had a rebonding...heh but i think it's really much neater now... :))))
alrightez, just talked to siti on the phone. she said that she's going to countdown with her family at changi beach tonight. better make sure that she has an accurate watch or something!! haha...and she's envious of ho ying that the latter is repainting her house! she also mentioned that many things have had happened in this year 2003...indeed, like the war in Iraq, SARS, and the celebrity stuff...hope that next year 2004 would be a much pleasant, happy and joyful year for everyone!! :) okies, gonna go out to buy my school bag laters...~ Cheers for Y2K4!!! ;)

Sunday 28/12:
*..::.. there was a time when the evening light is breaking,

i feel so lonely, won't you with me, there's so much to say ..::..*
didn’t go for tonight’s performance event at SYC. have been watching the drama serial Triumph in the Skies these few days. yup, rented the vcds…watched episodes 1-3 on Wednesday, 4 on Thursday, 5-7 on Friday, 8 on Saturday and today, 9-12. haha my mum declared that she wouldn’t cook dinner unless my dad went to borrow some more episodes!! :))) the show’s rather nice and interesting, and so far they’ve gone to countries like Rome, Hokkaido and now they’re in Adelaide. quite funny at some parts too. this was one of the shows that flora, benny and 2 others came to here to promote. Indeed the show was great… anyway, on Wednesday, my parents fetched loo lin and i to ICA for our Youth Successor GM. there were about 6 cultural performances. and the sounds thru’ the loudspeaker, which was pretty near to my side, were quite loud! our ears were a lil’ numb at that time i suppose! on Thursday, went out with my dad to sim lims square to buy a digital camera. walked around and went into this taiwanese shop. though the prices for 2 of the cameras were rather low, and one had 3.1 mega pixels while the other 5 mega pix, we still found that their quality was…not very good. so we went out and walked over to the next shop nearby. went in, asked for 2 to 3 japanese-brand cameras to look at, and found that the quality of the second model that he introduced was very good! the outlook was also v’nice! it was pretty small…and when my dad later tried hanging it round his neck it looked expensive and exquisite!! and the salesman cut the total price of the camera and the memory card by about $50! so we felt it was quite a good buy [which was probably due to the present economy]…yup…we bought it. :))))) haha and when we were walking home after coming out of the lift, we could see my mum already waiting outside our house waving to us, seeming very excited!! then she said that she was there as my sis had just came back. we also cleared and cleaned up the house and cupboards these few days. haha when i used the nail polish remover to clear some of the names on the cover of some books, some of the nail polish on my right fingernails were also removed!! hah…alrightez, blogging off to surf the net now…~ ;)

Saturday 19/12:

just after i stepped out from my piano class, it started pouring! and around at that time i also had stomachache…all thru’ the afternoon. then i thought of not going for that night’s YGM. hahah that dog at the private house nearby kept barking. and woa does sound travel! got so irritated that i just shouted “Shut up!”. hah and the dog really shut!! :P my mom later came in and told me that she was rather surprised when the dog stopped barking after i shouted! she laughed. anyways, until 5pm i was still undecided…i told loo lin to meet me later at around 5.30pm. then siti called, and after some chatting i felt better and well enough to go out, so had my light dinner and went off to meet loo lin. reached tsc at 6.30pm while the rest went for dinner. the meeting was okay, but the number of people who came was not as what the comm. had expected…which was to hit about 100. instead, slightly more than 50 [i think] came today. and though it was supposed to be filled with youths, loo lin and i felt that there’s like soooo many adults around us [yeah, although there were quite a number of twenty-somethings around too]. anyway, the meeting ended with our dance. haha huiling, loo lin and i were at the front while the rest of them all squeezed, or more accurately, all hid at the back. music started. dance was okay. sometimes turned round to check but other than this guy who started clapping instead of dancing, i thought that they were going alright, since i always turned at that angle and saw wenmei at the centre dancing. then suddenly some of the audience laughed, or kinda giggled a lil’. so for a moment i thought i had danced wrongly or something. but never did i know during the dance that all those at the back stopped dancing but clapped for us three at the front!! we didn’t know about this until the end of it! haha but nevertheless, we still had fun and perhaps, lightened up the mood of the atmosphere and brightened up somebody’s day… :)

surfed the net in the afternoon, before going to suntec with my dad to meet my mum. bought a cd, shopped around and soon had dinner. yeps, then got home to catch ji xiang ru yi! haha the man in the show got his servant to meet the girls, whereas the girl got her servant to meet that servant! heh the show is rather funnie manz!! okies, gotta go…bye! :-)

loo lin managed to get her friend to burn the dance track on cd and we had the song for today’s session! and it really helped! same place same time today. many of them improved their dance steps today. and this time it ended about 15 mins later. don’t know why they kept saying that “it’s very late already” when it’s like only 10pm or slightly after that! hah took the lift home today so wenmei didn’t have to walk with me too much!! alrightez shall end off here! nitez! ~

Tuesday 16/12:
*..::Don’t Stop::..*
had my favourite veg. and duck soup during dinner…yums! haha purposely told wenmei that i would leave my house at 8pm so that i could catch the debut of happy and lucky…hmm the show’s pretty okay…and quite hilarious too! then left the house and met her at the mrt station, and she was like 10-15 mins late! headed down to sengkang mrt station and met loo lin before we walked towards alice’s house. got there to see part of the puppet practice, then loo lin, huiling and i started to teach those YMDs and YWDs the dance for this Saturday’s GM. taught them all 10 sets of 8 during this session and of course, it was quite hard to catch at first for them. i remembered my group learnt only the first half on one day and the other the next day. and this guy said that there was too much hand actions for the dance, and refused to dance or was rather reluctant to do so! Then loo lin said that he told her to go on teaching the other steps instead of repeating the first few steps a few times! omg~ and he’s like one of the youngest men there! the older ones were definitely more enthu manz…oh wadeva. left at 10pm and wenmei walked me up the stairs right to my doorstep to see that i was safe! thanks wenmei!! :)))

Monday 15/12:
*..::Catching Stars::..*
headed to j8 before 3.30pm to catch tony leung and miriam yeung at an open interview. the place’s rather crowded when we got there, and i'm sure it would be much more packed if the event weren’t held on a weekday! my dad called earlier and they said that fans were already waiting and queuing up when it was only at about 1.30pm!! fortunately we were quite at the front when we came. then this lady slowly squeezed in front of me, as if i was unaware of her doing so!! i was one head taller than her so i could see what was happening. soon the stars came at 3.35pm. before that they were boarding the MRT. both wore jeans, and tony was wearing a white shirt. miriam had a red blouse. hah she kept smiling and giggling! rather fair and pretty. and then this teenage girl nearest to the fence in front for no rhyme or reason decided to climb one step onto it, so she blocked many people. did she think that she was transparent? i just couldn’t get it. and later she was meddling with her handphone and not paying attention to the front. fortunately we could still get a view…after that we walked around and had dinner at around 5pm [quite early huh?!]. mmm the yong tau foo was yummy! the chilli was nice too! then we drove back and i went for my class at 6pm…swoosh~

Sunday 14/12:
*..::A strong positive attitude will create more miracles than any wonder drug::..*
mmm…well, the highlight of the day was more of eating black pepper crabs…yummy! the gravy’s so delicious…and the meal was fulfilling while we watched tv at night…;)
this was what happened on last Tuesday to Thursday when i was at KL:
Tuesday – got up at around 5.30am, got ready and left the house at about 6.30am. got up the Five Stars bus at about 8am. the trip took about 6-7 hours, with occasional breaks. and the channels in my radio changed at some times too! arrived at KL and had our late lunch. had curry chicken noodles -yums!- …while my family and aunt had chicken rice. then went around Times Square to shop for the day. at night, we walked to the nearby shopping malls and had a vegetarian dinner at one of the restaurants. and the food was good! then got to isetan and browsed about. just as about the shop was going to close, we saw this nice skirt which was at a huge discount. haha could still remember my mum quickly fitting the skirt round my neck to see if it fits! and indeed, it really fitted like a glove when i went into the fitting room to try it on. then my dad quickly took it to settle the bill, asking the cashier to allow for his payment! the next day, we went again to buy the jean pants that i wanted, while my dad bought his stuff. although there were many clothes on discount during this time, we also felt that some prices marked at certain shops were just too unreasonable! maybe the people did that knowing that many tourists came here to shop…anyways, had roti prata for breakfast in the second morning one of those shophouses. then went to shop at the other shopping malls, including Lot 10. bought more clothes…3 tops in all [one at Soda], plus the skirt and jeans. and whoa, the air there was err…very filthy and dirty. from far i could see the smog coming out from a bus, rising up into the air. it was so dense and v’obvious! could recall myself walking on a pavement beside the road and suddenly a motorcycle just zoomed past my feet!! omg~ i was like so shocked…oh yar, the whole city simply had its ground “decorated” with dried black bubblegums! at first i didn’t know what those were till my dad told me! also bought 2 sling bags too! ;) on the third day we just had a pretty light breakfast – tuna [one curry and one mayo] and bread. mmm the curry was delicious! then my dad, sis and i went to the theme park at the 7th floor of Times Square to enter. took the escalator down to the 5th floor for the adult rides. heh didn’t take the roller coaster! it looked rather scary and seeing those people screaming away just puts us off. =P out of the 6 adult rides, my sis and i just took 2. one made us go round and round and round…many many times till we lost count quickly. it was soooo fast that the people standing outside or queuing could practically feel the strong wind created!! sat with my sis and soon she said that she was going to faint! i became so worried and kept telling her to open up her eyes and scream. haha i can’t imagine how much wind went into my mouth then!! proceeded to another ride and i just kept screaming for fun…hahah… :)))) didn’t sit the ride which brought riders up high and spanned. was also afraid if my shoe [which i exchanged with my mum as it was too tight and uncomfortable] would drop off as it was a lil’ loose! then shopped more, before we left KL for the 6-7 hour ride on the bus on the North-South highway…tata~ ;)

Monday 8/12:

basically went for class at night today, and when i reached home i found out that my locked handphone was unlocked somehow in my bag!! this means that i [or the stuff in my bag] accidentally hit the “unlock” button and then the “star” button consecutively! it's such a coincidence!! anyway, just came home and caught some tv at night…;)
