Wednesday 12/11:
What you learn in life doesn't matter as much as what you learn from life
just spent some time surfing the net and looking at some pics of celebrities…well, anyways, this was what happened yesterday… Tuesday 11/11 – took bus 53 and from serangoon mrt station, cheryl, ho ying and i took the train down to orchard. hah…really, it was ho ying…i also couldn’t really believe it when ho ying actually agreed to go with cheryl and i…and we all thought she’d rather stay at home or go out with her family instead. yarh…quite a surprise huh?!! got to far east plaza […and this time, we went in the correct direction!! :))) ]

…there, we walked around, and i didn’t buy anything, but as for cheryl, she practically spent nearly half an hour trying dunno-how-many tops [could be up to 10!!] and in the end, she bought one…[i don’t know if i should be thankful or not!] then in another shop, she spend about the same length of time, again, picking out and deciding on which to try. gahh if i didn’t help to “eliminate” some out, it’ll never end!! :X

after trying out 4-5 pieces, she didn’t buy anything!! and ho ying and i were getting rather tired from standing for quite some time and holding her belongings. oh and ho ying kept grumbling that her stomach was v’hungry!! so after cheryl had her share of shopping, we went to level 3 and ho ying & i took neos. this is also the first time ho ying has taken neos too! the pics came out quite okay and it was definitely much better than the first time i took and it was with siti!!!

lunched at BK and it soon became supa cold!! came out and felt the “vast” difference in temperatures, and i immediately burst out laughing upon seeing that ho ying and cheryl’s specs were all frosty from the condensation!!! :)))))))) hahaha….BUT soon we heard a man’s “laughter” [it was sooo fake!] coming in!! nonoo…it’s not a horror show. but it was like so scary and creepy when it happened. imagine out of nowhere there’s this fake laughter joining yours!!! eeks! :| then this guy just appeared from the side and persuaded us to apply for a dunno-wad membership card so that we’ll have discounts when shopping at far east plaza. earlier on, there were already two other girls who together approached us. all said that we three could apply for one card together and benefit from it. ahhh we just came up with all sorts of excuses. the girls soon let us off. but as for THAT guy, it was a tough one. we said, “Er, we’re busy…we need to go off now.” that guy, ”To where? Busy going to shop ah?” …or something like that. omg~ he’s just like a pest!! at last, we somehow pointed to one direction and said that we were in a hurry to go there and plus some other excuses, then were we free……

headed to heeren and window-shopped. oh and i met qiao ying too!! didn't notice her at first, it was only when i saw somebody rather familiar staring and smiling at me when i actually saw her!! also went into hmv and listened to some of energy’s songs, but erm, i didn’t take any liking to them or their songs…then ho ying and i parted with cheryl at the bus-stop, while we two went to the mrt station. could have taken the mrt and changed train back to my house, but i accompanied ho ying to bishan and we took the bus from there. felt that there was a significant number of sales people or promoters today. maybe it’s been like that nowadays everywhere, especially in town. well, it’s been months since i last came to orchard…yarh, so all these kinda “surprised” us. anyway, there were not only these three people who came up to us, in fact, we were walking along the pathways outside the shopping malls in orchard and ho ying told me to duck. didn't know what was happening till i saw a lady trying to stop people. then she was stopped for donation. well, i think this was rather acceptable, but ho ying just said, “No thanks”. oh wadeva. and just as we were about to enter the mrt station from wisma atria, i was stopped by another guy who was holding on some yellow pamplets at the entrance. tried to “swerve” to one side but he kept coming up. so i sped up faster to avoid him! omg…i couldn’t believe that he could actually run up with me!! also, just after we both got out from the mrt station and walking down the steps towards the shopping mall, this lady stopped me and after knowing that i could understand chinese, she asked if i could stay for about 15 minutes for a TV programme where i had to select some chosen good-looking guys. then ho ying said, “We’ve gotta go home now.” …and she let us off…easily.

anyhow, it was a rather tiring day walking quite a distance around orchard. also had a fun day of laughter with cheryl and ho ying too!! hah…okie, shall blog off now! tata~ ;)

Sunday 9/11:
We live life blinded from seeing what's really there, but when we get those moments when we stop to consider life, it's the only time we really open up our eyes and see life as it is!

ahh…i feel sooo relaxed…after mugging for my chi Os for last sat. now i truly feel that the hols have started!! :))))) pray that the markers would be lenient!! also hope that the others would also do well!! anyway, had my fill of watching a lot of tv yesterday and today…well i was practically glued to the tv yesterday manz! watched the frugal game by miriam and eason [it was quite enjoyable] and have yet to watch 2 weeks’ notice.. then watched channel u at parts of the night till it was 12!! and as for today, i finished my e.maths holiday assignment…yay!…well…it was just amongst loads of other many subjects’ homework…also watched legal entanglement at night today…the show’s rather nice…yupz…alright, shall now go off to zzzzz… …

didn't go out with the rest to catch Matrix Revolution at j8 in the afternoon, but went out with my family and had dinner outside. and the fish & chips were tastilicious!! -yum- mm.... alrightez, shall blog off now...tata! ;)

Wednesday 22/10:
People forget how fast you did a job but they remember how well you did it
2nd day of our marking day: left the house at 1105 and thru’ the NEL, i got down to dhoby ghaut, then changed at town, and changed again to bugis station. hah couldn’t find the others and had to call alethea twice!! anyway, lunched at seoul garden…this is the first time i actually ate there… and we took about 2 and a half hours for our lunch! -yum- the ice cream was sweet…fresh [cuz we, after the first serving of choc chip, yam, mango, vanilla, strawberry, went for the second round, waited for the lady to refill all the tubes with new ones!!]…mmm…=P :)))

shopped around at the edge before taking some neos…and arghh…my badge was lost probably somewhere on the way!! and it was the nice, meaningful, and first one which i bought!! walked around trying to find it…but still, we couldn’t find it… :(( anyhow, i was soooo full from the heavy lunch that my stomach was rather uncomfortable [i didn’t have dinner that night]…and serene could actually buy a cup of ice coffee from the coffee bean!! after covering bugis we decided to take the train down to paya lebar mall as cheryl wanted to buy the chinese ghost story drama series vcds [which she didn’t buy in the end] and shop around. in fact, there wasn’t anything nice to buy at this fashion!! that shop and it’s outlets hardly have quality stuff…cheryl tried a few here and there, but she didn’t manage to buy anything after all that trying…gahh i had problems finding the bus-stop back to my house and we walked quite a distance to find it…so i got up the train…this time many more stops…and alas, back to my home!!
