Saturday 19/7:

had a nice looong sleep [which comes in rarely since i'd usually have cca on sats] today!!
then tiffany msg-ed me to discuss on where we'd be going this afternoon, but later she suddenly told me she couldn't make it b'cos of her mom.. :|

my throat's not very good since yesterday morning..
when i woke up in the morning yesterday, i could already predict that i'd not be feeling quite well soon...heh same for the last time when i knew from the start what was gonna happen..

hence stayed at home to rest and did my hwk today..
hmm just found out a webpage that's rather interesting to me too! =Pp
yay! there's my fav channel u show at 7pm laters~
in the realm of success...nadia acted so cute and some parts were really hilarious manz!! hahax...

Friday 18/7:
*..::President's Young Performers Series::..*
Symphonie Espagnole, Op. 21
yay~ there wasn't HCL lesson in the afternoon today 'cos wang laoshi saw that 7 pple weren't in school [wits + tourism competition]. so went home by 3pm, bathed and lied down for a while before going for class at 5.30pm..

left the class halfway at 6.30 and walked down to the traffic light near mac's to meet my parents, and we drove down to the Esplanade. my piano teacher gave me a ticket to the President's Young Performers Series starting at 7.30pm. actually, she called my parents before that last-minute to tell us that she had an extra tic 'cos one of her students couldn't make it, but wellx...we decided not to collect it from her..

the concert's fantastic, with the main focus on Abigail Sin and Chan Yoong-Han..
woa...they're indeed young musicians manz!!~
then met my parents when the concert ended at 9.45pm,
and dropped by ho ying's house to hand over the idpw cds, 'cos i forgot to hand 'em up this afternoon and i'll not be going to sch tmr...[yeah! no cca!! =)))]

Thursday 17/7:
*..::When you lose,
Do not lose the lesson.::..*
heard from charmaine that both teams that entered today’s finals didn’t win.
the senior team had their mouse run out of battery during the run,
and this caused the mouse to run at the slower, original speed.
so their best run & score wasn’t as good as charmaine’s team.
but charmaine’s team was short of a couple of secs though their mouse ran well.
anyway, we shall keep on working hard and striving for success!!
all the way!! ~

good news: guzheng tuan has got a GOLD today at the SYF!
yeah! for 13 consecutive years liaoz!!

Wednesday 16/7:
*..::The Blind Mice::..*
left school at 8.30am for Great World City, Atrium Level One.
but before that, our team was still making some changes,
just like what happened the last time round.
but i guess the programme this time was more accurate though…
anyhow, caged in the mice at around 9.30am.
then we walked round the place while some others had their breakfast.

our team, like the previous time, was the first to go out of the 3 teams.
we were the twelveth to go, but a number of schools weren’t present today for some reason or another..
there shouldn’t have been any problem…
BUT that stupid pole had to jut out of nowhere in the maze that disrupted the run of our mouse!!! :X
AND everyone in our team was sooo nervous that we just concentrated on the starting area..
for the first 4 tries the person-in-charge was sort of giving hints, i suppose, as he expressed that the mouse kept crashing at the same spot.
but all of us didn’t take it into consideration, that we blindly restarted the mouse over and over again!!
grrrr…but fortunately there was one time when i decided not stop the mouse though it had partially crashed into the wall…and it continued nevertheless! but…crash~
but at least i kind of saved one try~

so in the end it was still that person-in-charge who pushed down that pole back into place, so that the mouse could run safely towards the goal.
and phew! the mouse managed to find the goal FINALLY!
on the 5th [also the last] try!!

however, the mouse couldn’t make it still for the subsequent run,
so our best run & score was the timing for the exploration.
what a score! but we were thankful that our algo was rather good, if not the timing would be much much higher!
anyways…the 2 other teams that also participated managed to get into tmr’s finals!!
and sooo many people there were fascinated by the senior team’s mouse that went smoothly past dunnoe-how-many consecutive diagonals!
hurray!!

later ate at yoshinoya and walked around the shopping mall.
bought some stuff at an accessory shop too..
hahax…jean, clarissa and i were like laughing away [esp. them] at Precious Moments.
didn't know that they found joy and laughter in reading those cards meant for lovers!! =DDD
anyhow, arrived at school at about 4.30pm, and photocopied our lit notes at the general office..

* oh yar…by the way, our guitar club [which participated in SYF for the first time this year] and cherubs harp won a GOLD for SYF!!

Tuesday 15/7:
*..::Day 9::..*
had my Chi O Lvl Oral Exam this afternoon..
the topic was about preserving places like Chinatown and Little India in Singapore,
and another was on idols.
then went to the art room to meet up with the rest of the club members to prepare for tomorrow’s micromouse competition.
stopped at nearly 6pm and met jas at the bus-stop.
decided to walk round heartland before going home.
wellx…nothin’ much to look at…as usual!!

*something to rejoice about:
the handbells girls went for SYF yesterday [Monday] and got a GOLD!! -yay!-
