my parents had sucha hard laugh when i told them just about the most droll thing that happened today at work. exclusively side-splitting. coming from a bunch of (yeah u're about to guess it) around-seven-plus-year-olds.

this girl, melody (she said today that her name's french) came into class today. amongst the first words she uttered upon entering, she announced that her "granny's mother just died".

melody: we threw her into the sea... (continues) she was 38 years old.
teacher: uhh, i really.. don't.. think she was 38, girl
melody: *insisting* yes! i heard she was 38!
teacher: i seriously don't think so.. how old's your mum?
melody: i think 37
teacher: how old's your granny?
melody: 73
teacher: so your granny's mother shouldn't be 38 you see.. and 38 is too young..
mathilda: my mum is around 38.. she haven't die yet
anothergirl: my grandma is 60-something.. she also haven't die yet

LOL. kids.
